I just started printing Lilith parts for a friend's cosplay and LOVE this stuff. It took only a little tweaking to get it running on 0.4 nozzle at 0.2, but I didn't even consider how it would do with a 0.8.nozzle... what settings did you use for that larger nozzle because I have a headpiece to print....

Hideaki Anno should just give it up. Takashi Yamazaki, with his work on classic franchises like Lupin, Doraemon, and Dragon Quest, has proven that Anno is an unnecessary figure and way overrated. Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus One is a clear testament to that.

Hello nextdecade I'm going to make this helmet for Halloween and it's my first time doing this so I have a doubt if it's possible to make this with cardboard and give it enough thickness since the foam here in my Xapalucha mat is difficult to get the EVA rubber for do it with that material and I wanted to know if it was advisable to do it with cardboard
@TheNextDecade18 күн бұрын
@@JesusLopez-co7cw you can do this with cardboard, but it will be more difficult to match some edges due to Cardboard’s lack of flexibility. Id recommend getting the cardboard damp to round some of the shapes, hitting it with some white glue to retain the rigid shape, then try to glue parts together. Im looking for cheaper foam solutions for my viewers who cant get foam easily. If you can wait a few weeks, Ill be laser cutting these patterns on foam and selling DIY kits!

$500 per kg I guess it’s worth it for that strength. I wonder if it warps bad when printing and or is it UV stable? Why screw with anything else if this gives you 95% the strength or more of an injection molded part. Assuming you just need function and the looks are not important.

I gotta say, this shows off the limitations of 3d printing technology of today. Cause you literally have to print in layers, so fibers can only exist parallel to one plane. How's the layer adhesion?

What kind of filament are you using? How hot are you printing? have you changed out the internal teflon tubing or nozzle? What about the tension bars and X arm leveling? I think you might just need to make a few small tweaks and things should be rolling smooth again. I'm in the middle of a huge Neptune 4 series review right now, a lot of things I do to get the 4 pluses to work, will def help you with nep 3 plus stuff too.
@rng_force86704 ай бұрын
I recently got a Neptune 3 plus and I was wondering what temperatures do you have your nozzle and bed at? Also what’s the height you print it? I don’t know if that’s what it’s called currently mines at -1.49.
@TheNextDecade2 ай бұрын
Sorry I missed this!!! I print around 210-215 for most PLA, bed at 50-60. I print most layers at .18-.28, but I think you mean your Z offset. Its different on everyone's machine, but mine is about the same as yours give or take .5mm in each direction. the trick is to do the auto bed level, then when its done and sitting in the middle, slide in some paper under it, and adjust the height by .01-.1 until the paper easily slides, but has some tension. Good news is, the Neptune 3 lets you adjust the z offset mid print. Hope this helps and Thanks for watching!!
