I'd definitely go with Hansel and Gretel! If you arrange the big boxes back images i think it makes a gingerbread house? If seen the bottom from Martyn (knit365). I'd love to see the full image now you're finished getting the big boxes, if you feel like doing a small puzzle?

I am making an anthology throw with a fingering weight advent, and a Rain or shin jumper by Steven west with a DK weight advent. Then I will be making a Radvent with my third but after it is completely open as I can't knit all of that at the same time. 😢

Every gnome wears a hat all the time and you will never see their faces as they like to keep them private. I believe we will be picking up stitches from the hat brim to start forming the rest of the head and body. That's how it usually goes anyway, this is my 3rd year doing her mystery Christmas Gnome

My scars from pressure sores from my being in coma 5 years ago are still sunken, and my shin is still dented from some childhood injury. I think hockey (field, south africa isn't known for ice!). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! But on the bright side, my body is really messed up so hopefully your dents to fill out again! We having a thunderstorm tonight, which has cooled us down thankfully (was 31°C feels like 36°C) but i suspect lightning hit one of our trees, the light post, or the rugby posts across the road. There was a lot of light!

Your shoes are beautiful. I live in Boyle, Ireland and we haven't had any power for 2 days, it came back on around 7pm tonight because of storm Darragh,so not alot of crafting for me this weekend. I am really glad you are feeling better ❤

So glad you're feeling a bit better! Hope this is the up and up for you! Gnana looks like you might be knitting her frock? So each kinda half you're knitting now would be the side of the bodice? Will have to wait and see!! The blue is working really well instead of that yellow. What is happening with the catkins pull over? I'd love to see it coming along too (I mean, just take leave and do all the knitting! 😂). Just for interest sake that a lot of my peers wouldn't know, catkins is a type of inflorescence (flower stem with multiple individual flowers) that hang down. So for the pic of the pattern you showed us, I can kind of see that! Being southern hemisphere, I have no idea which trees around you have catkins specifically, but I think it is more common in the NH trees. Today was my birthday, and I did nothing crafty wise. I finished the back of my 2nd cat's bed yesterday and continued crocheting 1st cat's blanket, but today I got waylayed with sorting out and setting up my mum's new phone and then played dinkum after our dinner.

Well done catching up with the Toft advent. Today I braved going out in the storm to my lys for an intarsia and colourwork workshop. An early Christmas present to myself 😊. Kx

I feel your pain Emily! What works for me to help recover and get energy back is fresh royal jelly - a tiny spoonful under your tongue every morning before breakfast. I usually take it at the change of the seasons anyway. Take care! ❤ Btw, I find socialising exhausting with or without being ill! 😬

I'm knitting a Radvent Cardigan with AChickThatKnits Advent - a dark, moody advent - and I'm loving it. I agree that you should switch. Having the softer transitions will make for a more beautiful cardigan (in my opinion).
