As the countershaft sprocket wears, you could possibly reduce or even loose the clearance. This is one of those mods that might add reliability and reduce it at the same time.

Great video🙏. Im currently prepping my DX for trip to South America. The clutch master lack of clearance worries me. I was contemplating putting on an Oberon Unit -do you think it might have better clearance.? I am ordering new chain and sprockets.

@Sean-gu3tq Thanks, I dont have any experience with the Oberon Units, but this little modification worked great across the Australian desert. A HD chain is definitely worth it, dont have to keep adjusting the OEM chain due to stretch.
