Hey, How was your oil consumption on the 10k trip? Did you add any oil? Usually, I have to add 2-3 dl/ 5000k. What ECU remap/flash tool do you recommend? Thank you! From Canada ;)

I've never had to add any oil in between services. Ive got another video on here, where I installed the dimsport rapid evo module.

I have Daddy Long Legs spiders everywhere in my house and never seen this before. I also never saw a wasp in my house, so that's probably why.

Good video. I have a MTS V4S and have same chain as you. Ive got new sprockets too. What did you mean "put chain right way up" i didn't realise there was a right way up on the chain😮

Great travel serie and Desert X setup videos. Enjoyed a lot seeing them. Just a pity the voice recording on this last trip. The helmet really sucks in that sense. My suggestion is to go with the new Osmo Action 5 Pro and either use a lavalier mic or connect the DJI Mic 2 or Mic Mini via bluetooth. My setup is the Insta X4, operated with the handlebar remote) with the DJI Mic 2 (mic in my backpack to record exhaust sound) and the Insta Ace Pro, operated via voice control (quite bad image quality compared with my previous GoPro 11) with a lav mic or the Mic Mini. Helmet-wise, the Airoh Commader 2 is extremely quiet and as lightweight as the Klim Krios Pro. Cheers.

Yeah the Audio in this helmet has been an issue, even with lav mics along with the normal GoPro Issues. I do have a Osmo and connected with rode wireless and that does work great, but it isnt practical for long distance riding as there are too many switches to turn on and off. One good thing happened yesterday though, my new GoPro died so im definitely in the market for a new camera. It definitely wont be GoPro again and I need to match it to a new helmet. 👍

You had a horrid run across the Nullarbor, If you are interested Quite a bit of off road across the Nullarbor, Always give the Road house a miss at the border and call into Eucla its just down the road a bit. From Norseman can hit the Norseman Hyden road and stay off the Main drag great ride through that part of the world.

Great series- I just did a similar trip but West to East from Perth to Newcastle, Yeah Norseman is unique town, the best thing about the Norseman caravan park is it has a great restaurant and free laundry services! If you don’t mind check out my series from crossing the continent! 🤙🏻🤙🏻

What kind or Range you getting ? how big is the tank ?

@@tequilagrub It's a 21L tank range varied because of the crap fuel and head wind. So 300-350km per tank Normally about 380-420km with everything going good.

Hey mate. Rode a Ducati monster from Sydney to Perth via Adelaide. March last year. Had 4 days to get back to work. So I was hitting 1000-1200km a day. Day/Night, rain and road trains. Storm cells that looked like the mother ship. Sydney to 🎶🎵Gundagai, because of the song, few beers at the pub. Gundagai to Adelaide. More beer at another pub, and... the start of rain 🌧️ Adelaide to Ceduna Ceduna to Norseman Norseman to Perth. The oil light came on at Northam. Topped it up. hahaha I missed most of the sights. So it's good to see what you come up with. I'm tempted to go back across. I enjoyed seeing the country. Hmmm yeah Snow Town, barrel of laughs. When you arrive at Norseman, pay attention to the BP bowsers. Ultimate Petrol and Diesel ⛽ Same sized nozzle. Look Very similar. I put diesel into the tank, and thanks to an elderly bloke arguing the point about which fuel he used, made me realise the mistake. Tool kit out and tank upside down. Belted off to Coolgardie later, thinking I'd burn that tank off. Yes, the Nanny state WA police welcomed me home. Which is bizarre, not seeing any police across the 4000km journey. You do feel cheated. Thanks to BP. One thing I did enjoy was the crew going across in both directions. Stop for a laugh and share a story. "No, skip that servo, it really is shit." • "No accommodation." • "No beer." 10pm at night on the straightest road in Australia, 180km/h. Looking at road trains off in the distance unsure if i was high beaming them?

I bought a Desert X second hand in New Mexico .Has SC Project with the link pipe fitted and no issues . My previous DX was stock and it definitely breathes better and wonderful pops and burbles . Mine has the baffle still in and I can’t see any reason to remove it as it’s already LOUD!!

That's exactly what mine did at anything less than 4C. Took it back to Ducati, but they couldn't duplicate the issue. I'm getting Starting Anxiety just listening to that sound.🤣

Yeah unless the put the battery in a freezer (which they dont do) they will just day its fine. Id say these batterys have about a 12month life before they really start to degrade.
