Thanks for sharing the installation process and capabilities of the Maskomoto. I’m looking a similar setup for my BMW F900GS, but has been hard to find the right rack for that setup.

I have a similar setup with my Desert X. I have outback panniers but with the factory racks. I love the videos.

Great video Adam. You can get the high tensile cap heads in a plated version, prevents corrosion, but you need to ask for them. The black ones rust really easily.

Thanks 👍, Yeah I will replace them after my trip when I pull it all off again for a clean. Was a bit limited with my options on a Sunday lol.

thanks for your time doing the videos. I'm not sure what your security straps look like...I have some sail board/kayak straps with a metal wire down the middle with a lock on them, might be an alternative. Looking forward to seeing the big trip!!

No worries, the current straps I have are wide nylon with a steel cable down the middle, they are just too big to fit these panniers thats all. I just need the 5mm steel cable ones. I might just have to suck it up and get the 6ft versions.

To sort your pole issues, check out some bikepacking tents - spendy but they usually have 12" poles and pack down to around 30cm. Nemo, Big Agnes, Sea to Summit and MSR are great brands with some really nice lightweight tents for bike/moto camping. The only downside is the cost compared to a standard hiking tent.

Thanks for that, I used to have a big agnes and have used a few of the MSRs unfortunately, they are still around the same pole length size to what I currently have and pack slightly bigger. Its all good though.

Hello, I did consider them but they are wider than I wanted, and had already purchased the outback motortek racks in preparation for their boxes. If I went to the Ducati ones Id have to get the OEM rack and im not having much luck with ducatis welding on their accessories at the moment.

I use this kit, it comes with the levers as well. It works great. No need for a dedicated tire changer unless your doing them every week. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZbWZJqLpqpjb7s

One question buddy, what rear rack are you using there? Good video! The outback motorek pannier rack very useful, its impresive brands don't do more videos about their products !

@arnulph2379 That's the nomad adv rear rack, I put that on the same time I put the original enduristan bags on, I have a video on here about it. It works great for what im currently doing.
