Cool video!! The GT surprised me with the drag finishes and the X5 surprised me 😮with the braking. That GLE launches like a scud and sounds awesome. Very enjoyable. How about 7, Panamera and S next time.

Imagine watching a channel this biased . This same channel had a cla 45 beat a freakn bmw m2 in a drag race. If u want a real race just type in x6m comp vs gle63s vs urus and click throttle house. Gle63s gets gapped by 2 semi trucks

I just came from another vid on this channel where a mercedes SUV beat a x5m competition and a porsche cayenne turbo gt. These races are fake.

As mentioned in the debrief and previous replies, the Porsche was not broken-in. It requires 3,000km to be broken in, this one had just over 2,000km.

Jay is a good driver but needs to bring a Turbo GT that's broken-in next time. We did not know that the break-in for the Cayenne Turbo GT occurs at 3000km, not 2000km, until we got to the drag strip. Jay will get a chance to redeem himself with a rematch in a properly broken-in GT Turbo.

The tires on that 720S were due for a replacement. Going up against an AWD without new tires and on that surface made traction a challenge. Once it hooked up, it was a ballistic missile!

I don’t know what they did to the GLE 63s but I know for sure that it’s not faster than the beemer in any case unless it’s been tuned. The transmission and the weight holds it back but it is comfortable to drive . I think you guys are trying to help Mercedes improve sales😂

The ISG tech in the AMG made a big difference in the half mile. Most other challenges on KZbin are over a quarter-mile. The ISG tech can add 21hp and up to 184lb-ft of torque at times. In this case it delivered every last pony.

@@MercedesBenzDowntownCalgary well I guess it does seem to gain more power and speed at around 30 + mph. At least in my vehicle, it is somewhat temperamental sometimes when just hitting the gas all the sudden. It’s like the transmission isn’t alert sometimes. I admit that it is a fun vehicle at times and sounds great. I owned a 21 X5M competition before the GLE 63 and they both have noticeably different behavior when it comes to putting the power down in an instant. I like what you guys are doing with the channel,keep it coming 👍🏽
