I didn't know about the calculator on morph market until you mentioned it! It's so fun to play with and very informative. Beautiful baby leopard geckos. Love the video!

I have the same tent. Free standing, easy set up. Nice, rock solid, no issues. For me (6'1", 200, 67yo w/achy joints), it's the probably the smallest tent I'll use. I added tie-outs on both side panels to provide a few extra inches without touching the walls when sleeping. Entering/exiting is a little tight for me, maybe I'll limber up(!).
@AnimalJeff-lh7fhАй бұрын
Thanks for the comment. That's a great idea to add some tie outs. I just might do that.

Hey I’m using a damp napkin on the bottom and dry one i lay the egg clutches on inside the same container you showed. Is that a good procedure? It’s been about 2-3 weeks now and the eggs are not molded ready to hatch as of yet.
@AnimalJeff-lh7fhАй бұрын
Yes I think so. Just make sure the napkins don't dry out. I have done it that way as well.

I noticed you had yours cohabiting with fish. Which fish did you have in there?
@AnimalJeff-lh7fhАй бұрын
I have native fish to my area. I had Sunfish and a small Spotted Gar. I moved the gar out when he got to big. If the fish can fit in the frogs mouth it will eat it if it gets the chance. Also if the frog can fit in the fish mouth the fish might try to eat the frog. so be careful. Thanks for watching the videos.

I’ve heard that they can just hatch in the lid of your aquarium if there is enough humidity. Can you confirm?
@AnimalJeff-lh7fh3 ай бұрын
Yes they can. if you have a lid it keeps the humidity high and will work. I just had a clutch hatch like that. I typically get a much better hatch rate when I do exactly like I explained in the video though.

@AnimalJeff-lh7fh4 ай бұрын
Hate to bust your bubble but they are reptiles. They are Classified as reptile. learned that in 3rd grade. reptiles are born with lungs and typically lay eggs on land. Most amphibians are born with gills and later develop lungs and lay eggs in water. Thanks for the engagement.

Hi, I am looking to buy a natural female adult African Clawed Frog. Any suggestions? Ed
@AnimalJeff-lh7fh4 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your question. Its surprisingly hard to find them for sale anymore. I think is because they are becoming invasive in many areas. you might try Morphmarket.com but im not sure if the have them on there anymore. Backwaterreptiles.com had some not to long ago. You might want to look on local FaceBook Groups. I see them on there sometimes. I really hope you find one soon. If I come across anything ill shoot you a message.
@edbrown33484 ай бұрын
Thanks, Jeff. Unfortunately the Facebook forums want to sell frog ornaments or show you a photo of their frog. Thanks for getting back to me. Ed
