We Went Crystal Mining At Crystal Vista

Nice crystals! I hadn't heard of this crystal vista at all. I've taken the family to Crater of Diamonds to find nothing, but next time we road trip through AR I will want to stop here - this is more of my type of jam.

Growing up we would go spelunking in southeast MO and south west Illinois. Also in the Smokey Mountains. The best finds was in the parking lots! People didn’t know what they were throwing away!

I took my wife and son last July . I don't remember seeing that big boulder of crystals being in the trail ? We went all the way to the dig site and found some crystals but that was at the dig site! Maybe everyone should start digging where you were at and see what happens when a Ranger shows up . There may be a reason why you found so many crystals off the trail to the dig site? Just saying...

I have the gps in the description. It takes you to the place I dig. It’s ok to dig there. Several people a day typically dig there. You could call the ranger and ask. Thanks for the comment. I really hope you subscribe.

Hey dumb dumb, this isn't a national park - it's forest service land and crystal mining with hand tools is completely allowed.
