How about fixing it???
@SceneFifty
@SceneFifty 13 күн бұрын
Well you can… 1) Buy new sensor and replace…if you have money. 2) Remove the sensor from the jar, open up the sensor and remove the magnet in the sensor then put it back…if you’re techincal. 3) Just unplug the harness from the sensor…if you’re in a pinch. I’ve heard people trying to fill the jar with vinegar and run it through the lines and had minor success.

@SceneFifty 20 күн бұрын
@@Weldoholic yes you could go that route as well but if you’re in a pinch, do this. I heard once the grommet comes off, it’s a pain in the arse to get it back on annnnnd it’s possible even if you replace the sensor, the light might come back on.

whats the torque specs on the sway bar reinforcement pieces?
@SceneFifty
@SceneFifty 4 ай бұрын
I went according to the factory torque specs. The sway bar mount bolts should be 30ft-lbs and the rear lca bolt should be 60ft-lbs. The diagram for the rear lca doesn’t show the torque spec for the bolt but the instructions on the Cusco (in Japanese) one will show you “Nm”.

What was the situation you had with the backside (opposite side of the screws)? I'm trying to do the install now, but the back side keeps popping up leaving a huge gap.

Did you have to get an alignment after removing that lower control arm bolt for those Cusco braces? Toe would probably be out a bit
@SceneFifty

Nah, I didn’t need an alignment for removing just the bolts. If you took out the whole arm or installed and aftermarket one where it’s adjustable, then I would recommend getting an alignment.

was thinking of getting this air filter for my hatch , thing is they pull warm engine air in through the intake loosing bhp , they look and sound good though, i guess the enclosed type would be better or extended pipe so the filter is outside the engine . ..

yes, you should get this for your hatch and yes, any air filter mounted within the engine bay without a cool box or extended pipe will draw in hot air. HKS does make an enclosed box for this particular air filter system. unfortunately for us on this day, we didn't have it on hand lol!

Cause I hit a hard plateau. Off my diet and been eating foods I haven't eaten for more than a year. Like rice, sushi, Hawaiian food with rice and etc. A lot of foods just go great with rice, and eating rice with out it, just isn't the same lol. Starting in March going back on my strict diet. Thank you bro for the encouragement really means a lot to me. Hope you have a blessed day. Aloha!

The STi fake vent is fake because it’s really not a useful place for REALLY doing anything for temperatures or aero. If you look at real high performance cars the vents in the front fenders are all higher up behind the wheels. If air is being routed into the wheel well for aero, it’s always from low in front of the wheel. NBR has a really functional fender vent cf add on, btw (top of fender).

Carven uses 400 series stainless steel, that means it is magnetic and will rust. I see many companies pushing polished stainless steel but that does not improve the quality of the 400 series stainless steel. 300 series stainless steel is what you are looking for because 300 series stainless steel is non magnetic and resists rust and corrosion. Borla and Corsa both use T304 stainless steel. If you really want an exhaust system that was put through a full R&D program then you want a Borla, yes Borla is more expansive because they do the R&D and they only use T304 stainless steel through out the entire exhaust system. That is why Borla warranties their exhaust systems for 1,000,000 million miles or 50 years, that means you could drive 20,000 miles a year for 50 years to reach 1,000,000 miles. That is how much Borla believes in the quality of their product. I see Craven warranties their exhaust for 100 years with no mileage mentioned, but notice in their warranty there is nothing mentioned about materials so if your craven exhaust system rusts out in 3 years that is not covered under warranty. That 100 years sounds impressive until you read it and find out in really only covers their workmanship such as broken/cracked welds, broken flex pipes, broken hangers, pinholes, or mis-manufactured components. The reason Craven only covers workmanship and not materials is because they know 400 series stainless steel rusts. BORLA PERFORMANCE INDUSTRIES, INC. warrants its products to the original purchaser of record and for the original vehicle on which the product was installed against defects in materials and workmanship for one million miles. The Craven cat back exhaust costs $549.99 The Borla cat back exhaust costs $828.99 so for just another $279 dollars you can upgrade to a Borla cat back exhaust system that is a full T304 stainless steel exhaust and have a superior exhaust system.

Still happened to make a cool video, despite all the issues you mentioned at the end of the video. Seeing all the legit JDM cars there made me regret not going to this event XP. Especially all the R32s, R33s, and R34s. Maybe you need a new SD card for your camera? Or were you filming with your phone? Hope you can sort out all those issues before filming another event in the future.

I tried brother lol! I didn’t realize filming in 4K at 60fps on an iPhone would eat up space so quick. Even if I reached max capacity, I couldn’t delete any old footage cause I didn’t back it up on an HD. I guess you can say I was prepared for the unprepared 😂. You should try to come out to one of these events. There’s a lot of JDM cars now that you can look at even the Skylines. Just waiting for next year so I can start to see Silvias 😝
