was thinking of getting this air filter for my hatch , thing is they pull warm engine air in through the intake loosing bhp , they look and sound good though, i guess the enclosed type would be better or extended pipe so the filter is outside the engine . ..

yes, you should get this for your hatch and yes, any air filter mounted within the engine bay without a cool box or extended pipe will draw in hot air. HKS does make an enclosed box for this particular air filter system. unfortunately for us on this day, we didn't have it on hand lol!

I got an HKS super flow for my wrx coming in soon. I’ve been tempted to get an accessport also to tune but I want to go with a catted down pipe in the future and idk if Cobb will allow me to tune with a down pipe with the new green update for their products

Nice choice 👍🏽. I’m pretty sure there’s a way to tune the car with a catted downpipe installed. Personally, I haven’t stumbled upon their new green update but I’m pretty there’s a way around it.

Ngl this is one of the worst videos I’ve seen in a while, definitely could’ve been 5mins long. One test drive and you didn’t even get on it and said “noticeable difference in power” … there’s no way you psyched yourself into believing that 😂
