loosening your grip is a good way to loose you' re weapon. not very practical, you can do that with a full grip just like a stick or a bladed weapon...

Dang those things are lethal. I meteor hammer and this is scary compared to a 2lb wheight on a 13 lb chain. Just ordered a pair but will only toy with them cause we can all reference how lethal a mantis can be. This is a bad Mantis on roids.

Awesome tutorial on your Kama techniques. I was wondering what is the specific name of the Kama blades design and brand that you are using, if you do not mind me asking? I really like the spearhead on the end of the handle! 👍 ☺ ✌
So glad I found you. Thank you sir for sharing your knowledge, I have a couple books , but you are what i''ve been looking for. So excited to learn so many new moves which are based off all the basic stuff I already learned. Internet bow to you.

If this is the person who was used to kama, anyone can easily do it. Kama is common farming tool. (in the elementary school, kama is had always ready as the science teaching materials for the child) kama which he uses is a toy for fiction performances. He attaches a Korean mark to an arm. There is no such kama in old Korea. This kama is reluctance of leaving of the Japanese times. The modern Korean farmer seems to want kama made in Japan.

The single finger roll (last technique) really requires a good student to learn, because you have to know what you are doing wrong in order to fix it. Some common mistakes: other fingers sticking out and hitting the weapon as it's coming around (keep the other fingers tight to your palm), and going to slow or fast. The momentum of that move is really important and it's physically impossible to do "slow" but if you go too fast you'll end up just throwing the weapon which isn't right.

Very pedagogical video on how to use the nunchaku. I like that you go to the most demanding way of using it, that makes so much trouble for everyone who tries to master this weapon. I couldn´t believe that it is so simply. You don´t imagine how much I´ve tried to make this work and not been able to figure out why I couldn´t do it. It´s these small points that one would never look for oneself. Thankyou for having made it easier to understand the small finer points of nunchaku-mastery. :)
