I know this is a 8yr od video, but I just had a used 2000 Rancher 350 ES given to me, and I've been slowly replacing parts. Tire sizes, in relation to wheel (rim) sizes confuse me. Mine have 25x8-12 front and 25x10-11 on the rear. Does anyone know of a chart or diagram to use for proper wheel (rim) options?
@tyl12d24 ай бұрын
@@sturny3698 it really doesn’t matter but they should have 24-8-12 on the front and 25 11-10 on the rear

@tyl12d2 Cool, thanks! Good to know. What about the wheel size? The ones that are on it are pretty banged up. How are the measurements of wheels read in relation to the tires?

Had a set of these, they were AWESOME in the mud and on trails. Had issues with getting flats almost every or every other ride. Ended up putting tubes in them. And ended up having wheel bearing issues with them too.

Although there is no click adjustment for windage, open rear sight windage can be adjusted through tightening and loosening the left and right hand side screws. Loosen one, then tighten the other one on the opposite side to to take up the slack and move pellet point of impact. Pellet choices abound for .20 caliber through the internet. Crosman Premier and JSB Exact diablo shaped pellets are usually very accurate.

After checking with the vendor that the 15 ft/lbs advertised on the box was not for the British market I bought one in .177 he told me the boxes used were universal, after putting it over a chronograph, it was doing 14.7 ft/lbs with Air Arms 8.44 grain pellets, it took a lot of messing with to get it to 11.3 ft/lbs, just be careful buying, it might just be a firearm.

Hey man, thx for the calm explaining in this nice video! Here's the thing I,m about to buy a Honda TRX 350 Fourtrax 4*4 es here in Sweden year model 2005, is there any major differences (xcept 4x4 of course:-) from your 2wd es that I should think of? Its very good to know about every little thing since its my first atv. Is it equipped almost like yours would you say? I mean the basic functions and not xtras of course. Regards Tobias

You remind me of my nephew who is on the spectrum (Asbergers). He needs close supervision when handling pellet rifles and real firearms. The way you kept picking up your Sheridan and nearly dropping it back down on the glass table made me cringe. The reasons to treat your Sheridan with care is someday you may have children to pass it down to or you may have to sell it. Well kept guns sell for more money. I guess God balances the world with people who are too anal and people who don't give a shit.

If you listened the reason I said that was because my last one the motor went from not checking the oil and It had a slow oil leak but I was young and never looked out for that stuff so that was my fault but then after it sat for a year it decided to run again for almost a year and a half with a loud knock in the engine.

Is there a foot shifter if the electric shifter stops working
@tyl12d23 жыл бұрын
Yes and no... if the battery were to die and the electric shift goes out there is a stud underneath and towards the back from the oil cap that you can put a special tool on to shift manually to get you home. That tool should be located in their rear compartment that would’ve came with the four wheeler‘s tools. Hope that helped!

I'm picking up a 2003 with the es tomorrow, is 4000 miles alot for these? and is the es something I should worry about?
@tyl12d23 жыл бұрын
The ES you don’t have to worry about that just means Electric shift so you do it with your hands rather then your foot but I have never had a problem with the ES going out other then when my battery died one time put it comes with a little handle in the rear storage box that you can shift with to get you home until you can get a new battery or charge the battery. The 4,000 miles I would say that’s in the middle for a four wheeler. Really you just got to look it over and make sure the person took care of it and didn’t beat the crap out of it and make sure they didn’t use it to plow because that’s really hard on the machine. Hope that helped! Let me know how it goes!
