Yes... it's ugly. I have a 2019, love it. They made it look like cars that others stop making (taurus, fusion). Honda designers were plainly stupid on the decision for this. Everybody knows it's not a real sports sedan, but the last one sure does put some fun in the drive department. For those of us that don't have a Porsche, mini van, Bently and a range rover, to use for each occasion... the Accord does everything well enough. The least honda can do for people that have the choice between the driving the minivan or accord in the garage is to make it look appealing. Guess I can make the Genesis switch since the Stinger is gone too.

Unfortunately, it does have quite a road noise. I've just purchased the 2022 Honda Accord EXL 1.5t .

Bought one brand new in 2009 and use it as a daily driver still. The only things that ever went bad were the starter and the front control arms. Nothing else. I would highly recommend it.

Why does Honda insist on making such frumpy looking cars? It doesn't cost anymore to build a good looking car than it does to build something as nondescript as the current Accord and Civic If you do a search on 2025 Accord, you will see some of the beautiful prototypes that they could be building. Right now, the Kia K5 and the Hyundai Sonata put the Accord to shame as far as looks go. I think Honda executives just do not have the balls. And they should definitely bring back a high performance version. I'd love the V6, but I'd happily settle for the two liter turbo. I think they should let the Acura boys start designing the Hondas. Either that or hire a European chief of design, like Mazda did.

I was OBSESSED with the 09 TL, my dream car, in every way and never understood the 3rd gen TL after finally buying the 4th gen and working on it, the 3rd gen started growing on me, but I wouldn’t trade the 4th gen for anything. I get now how they aren’t a TRUE car enthusiast dream, but I liked the corporate classy shit. And the new Superman grille is ABSOLUTELY in the right direction

I have two ls 460 2012 and 2015 they get Awesome gas mileage 485 on a tank of gas driving 80 to 85 change the air filter to K&N and get a chip

They were close to bringing Acura to the next level back in the 2000s. The 2nd gen RL/4th gen Honda Legend was supposed to get a RWD V8, and the NSX was supposed to get a V10 with a guarantee by the old Honda team that it will be faster than the new Nissan GTR and Lexus LFA. Both Acuras got cancelled due to the financial crisis. The Acura RL became Accord-based with a V6 and SH-AWD, and the V10 NSX became the Honda HSV-010 race car in Super GT. The stubborn beak didn't help. So many lost opportunities...

I bought my ‘08 Honda Accord EX-L as a secondary vehicle for $3400 earlier this year. It has 223k miles but has been well cared for both maintenance and exterior/interior. I like that it has the 2.4 engine and it’s been solid. My only gripe is my Honda has the popping noise in the steering column when I turn sometimes which was an issue but not a safety hazard, not a big deal if I absolutely wanted to I could replace it since I have the part number. These are great cars for a secondary vehicle or maybe a teenager that just got a license.

In Australia no one gives a shit about what a car looks like.. horse power horse power horse power.. only impresses.. no one gives a shit about tail lights or colour of the brake calipers.. horse power down under is the most important thing

Hate that you have to buy the more expensive premium fuel. Especially at a time when gas prices are so high and electric vehicles are faster and on the rise.

My only sticking point is the city MPG if they could have squeezed another 2 MPG out of I I'd be sold since I do mostly city driving
