I test drove one of these when they first came out a few years ago....I told myself when I started making "good money" I would reward myself with one of these. Now that I'm making that good money, I'm too frugal to pull the trigger LOL

Spending a good chunk of change on a luxury car is difficult for sure! Especially nowadays with the crazy high prices thanks to the shortages. Maybe look at pre-owned? Keep some money saved for maintenance as well, they can get pricey! Thanks for watching!

@@ObsessedAutoReviews I had decided I don't want the headache of maintenance and electrical gremlins; one of my siblings bought a brand new 2020 Velar and it has been nothing but trouble since. She named it "Shiny Turd" haha

Personally, I hate black on black, especially during a bloody hot summer. But I also have to admit, for some cars, black exterior sorta suits them. For example, the Audi RS Q8 - such a beast for an SUV and a black exterior really suits that vehicle, in my opinion. Oh not a huge thing, but did you realize that your audio kept disappearing often throughout this video? They were all very brief, but still a little bit annoying! Other than that, good video of this car, one of many cars I really like but cannot afford! lol

I agree, some cars are just made for black paint 🎨 and yes I'm very sorry about that its mic stuttering that happens randomly. I have to get a new one, hopefully soon! Thank you for watching!

To answer your question, the air vents for the rear seats are standard. For extra cash you can have them independently adjustable for A/C and heat.

FYI, here in UK the Surround camera system which had been standard and then an option was deleted entirely over Christmas 2021. It’s now been deleted from Velar also as the chip shortage bites. The rear air vents are standard on all models. As an option you can have their temperature adjustable independently as a third AC zone.

Good to know! The chip shortage really getting cars down bad. Are they gonna add it once they have chips or do you have to pay to get the 360 cam? Thanks for watching!

@@ObsessedAutoReviews Up to end-Dec 21 it was a cost option. Now it’s just not available on the bigger selling cars, ie Evoque, Velar and Disco Sport. There is no info on when or if it will be brought back. A similar thing is effecting high- spec headlights. They are for instance building the new Range Rovers but putting them in store pending availability of laser and matrix LED headlights. If you order a new RR now I’m told you’ll be waiting 16 months.

Short and long trips combined.... diesel or petrol? And which dynamic evoque is best one to get?

I don't think I've ever had an experience with a diesel Evoque! I do hear diesel is better on fuel economy than gasoline. I'm in Canada and we don't get the diesel Evoques either now. It really depends what your looking for. If styling is important the r-dynamic package adds good exterior highlights. Thanks for watching!

@@ObsessedAutoReviews so I do mostly short trips during week and then twice on motorway, I’ll be buying the 2 litre Range Rover but if I want the best value for money should I go for petrol or diesel also I want features like the 360 camera, or the heating in back seats what type of options should I get ?

@@96Views I really wish I had an answer for you bro, but the UK spec Evoques are a bit different in terms of standard packages and whatnot. Over here the hst is the highest trim level, but I personally think a r-dynamic trim with certain add-ons (like things you need) would be a better way to go. Unless your sure the top trim offering is everything you want. Like over here you can pay an extra 500 for the rear heated seats over there I'm not sure how it works. Sorry for not being much of a help!

Heated seats absolutely, cooled ... I'm not too sure. They may be available only as an add-on option or perhaps the top trim is spec'd with it. I would build your desired one on the LR website to be sure. Thanks for watching!
