I’m in Texas & was raised on tha only motorcycle in tha world yup you guessed it a Harley. Nothin compares to it. You’ll never see a Harley broke down on tha side of tha road & if by chance you do you’ll see tha dude pushing it coz they don’t leave their Harley’s on side of road like crotch rocket owners do. I’m an ol hippie chick that loves to ride & im known to Suppirt my Local Bandido”s . Peace to Holland from Texas .

"Torque vs power" is the same "acceleration vs speed" There's no way Hildo can beat Ricky on a fast track There's no way Ricky can beat Hildo on 0 to 60

Lesson of the day: Torque wins the day in short races. Nothing else needs to be said.

now try that in a 1km race XD the harley probably does 160kmh as max speed XD

All the thumbs down 👎 from sports bike riders with buyers remorse. Sure you can go over 150mph... on a track... but a bike geared to top out at 70 will walk most things on the road.
@unclemikeb3 жыл бұрын
LOL. Hildo claims 70 HP. That was the factory HP many years ago. It moves like it has about 200b lbs of torque.

Hildo has his personal website in Dutch. You can find the specs of this bike, its a 96 cid stroker Evo. www.twolefthands.nl/motor/de%20Harley/page1%20de%20Harley/de_harley.htm

I'm wondering why the sport bike wasn't pulling the front tire. It could be Ricky was not comfortable giving too much throttle at the start. To get a good launch he should have had the front tire at least a few inches off the ground. Still, it is hard to overcome the monster torque of a long stroke V-twin. Plus I saw the S&S patch on his jacket. It is highly likely the engine has S&S cam and carburetor.

That's not a CBR 1000 CC, but merely a 250. The 1000 wouldn't have to change gear for such a Short distance. IT goes over 60 mph in 1'st. The film is a hoax Here is the real story: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJOueYifosisn68

Man usually on these videos guys are mad they cant afford a harley and have to settle for plastic bikes. You took it a step more and are jealous of his beard as well! Must be terrible to have the face of a child.

Had a Harley ElectraGlide dude - and got tired of cruising in the slow lane with the other Harley's and getting my ass kicked by a Honda 750 Magna kicking my ass. Harley's can't get out of their own way - and I wouldn't say that if I hadn't owned one. I don't buy bikes to ride in the slow lane, and obviously, you buy bikes on the loud noise they make vs being an efficient machine. Obviously you don't know your bikes and where and how power is derived. As for the beard comment - I've never understood why guys want to look like Osama Bin Laden !! It looks like trash.
@calebgodwin32245 жыл бұрын
@@Pparker99 I do know bikes and how power is delivered. Ive been turning wrenches and building motors of every sort for 20+ years. Stock harleys are slow ill give you that but with a little work and some compression they come to life. Now will it run in the 160-70s with a big displacement super sport big? No, aerodynamics are a bitch, but they will 60 foot the fire out of that supersport you ride and probably get it in the 1/8th too unless its a purpose build drag bike rice rocket. On top of that ill do it in comfort and style not on a plastic toy. As for the beard I keep one because Im a man and can grow a damn good one, and plus the gals love it. But its ok little fella, maybe one day when you quite riding the toy bikes and get ya a mans bike you'll be able to grown one too. Hell ya may even get ya a lady of your own, unless your into fellas then im sure theres a nice baby face guy out there for ya somewhere.Bottom line is I ride HD because they are comfortable, reliable, they have a heritage behind them and they dont sound like a weed eater. Being able to make them fast is just a plus.

This is really lame. This race looked like a 50 yard sprint. The CBR has only 76 ft lbs of torque - and at 8500 RPMs. Move that finish line out to a quarter mile and race, or how about top end. Seriously lame. And no, the Fireblade is 136 HP at the wheel. Get your facts right. If you have some specs of the rust bucket, I could produce the average specs on that bike too.

I saw the S&S patch on Hildos jacket and knew who would win. S&S makes cam shafts that drastically increase the torque of a Harley and that is what gets a bike off the line. I didn't get a good look but I think it also had an S&S carburetor. Hildo might have been saying 70 HP based on factory figures but I bet that engine was a torque monster. In the first race, I heard tires squealing. If the Honda had done that It probably would have done a wheelie as soon as the tire caught so we can be pretty sure it was Hildo ripping off some rubber with all that torque I mentioned. I thought sure we would see at least some front tire hopping from the Honda but no, so maybe Riki is not comfortable with that. Still, Hildo shot away really fast so I don't think a more experienced rider could have beat Hildo in that short distance. On an open road that Honda would have rocketed up the highway, but Hildo knows his limits and at least for this race, He owned it.
