Australia should take a risk and bring in Boland for Mitch Marsh. Pat Cummins and Mitch Stark can play 7 and 8 in Adelaide.... Otherwise, this Aussie squad and game plans look fairly predictable. No risk no reward.

My XI in the batting order : Rohit, Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Virat, Pant, Jurel, Sundar, Nitish, Harshit, Siraj, and Bumrah Actual XI would be: Rohit, Jaiswal, Gill, Virat, Pant, KL Rahul, Sundar, Nitish, Rana, Siraj, and Bumrah I will play KLR at 3, as he has the technique and temperament to steal that spot compared to Gill, who got out not offering the shot too many times of late!! I picked Jaddu in place of Jurel as the former is a multi-dimensional player who can do something in all the departments of the game!! I feel it is unfair on Jurel to be shown the door after just one opportunity. Hope you all with me, folks?

Md.shami in domestic:- Played ranji bowled 40+ overs taking 7 wickets. Played 2 t20 syed mustaq ali matches and took 3 wickets. Seems like he is ready but gambir liking of Nitish rana can delay his flight.

I know it sounds like we should do something radical but I would love for us to pick Spencer Johnson because I think the guy can really bowl and make things uncomfortable for India Spencer Johnson with a pink ball bowling 145 .... Would be really hard to handle. I know the bowlers didn't lose us the test match but I feel like we need someone that can intimidate and we don't have anyone in our team that can really intimidate India at the moment.

I dont think Shami will be playing the Adelaide test. I really want to see Akash Deep playing that test. Rana played at Perth on ‘the horses for courses’ argument and he did well. But Adelaide will suit Akash Deep a lot more and he will get movement in the air and off the seam with that pink ball. I am sure he will trouble the aussie batters

The problem with the Australian team is the top 4 batsman are not aggressive, rather very timid. Indian bowlers when they get hit for a few boundaries have a totally different body language vs when the opposition is defending . They need atleast 2 batsman who can counterattack in the top 4 like Hayden or Warner.

Why wouldn't McSweeney, Head and Carey take some of their out of form team mates to their club training on Thursday night and say "I have a friend who needs a game on Saturday/Sunday, does anyone mind missing a round?". Reckon the club wouldn't mind the turnout and attention!

8:35 Actually the pressure was more on India than Australia. We didn't able to win in worldcup since 2011 & it became a pattern like south africa. That's why even after incredible dominance of India in 2023 worldcup, Indian players were under lots of pressure in final due to huge expectations and hype.

One problem I see with all the Australian batsmen, they have forgotten how to play the ball off the back foot. Hardly see a back foot cut or even a late cut. The back foot hook shot was mastered by the Chappells, Waughs, Border, Taylor….. Now they all go front foot and if it’s short they get hit or they all get tangled up. Plus they are moving the bat across line. The reason for this is the short form of the game.

One good series in SENA. He is. Home deck bully. He scored most of his runs in england in 2nd inings (batting bit easy) unlike kohli who did at first innings. Rohit play late close to body and use soft hand thats why he is good for english condition. He has natural footwork issue. Not spontaneous movement. Alws did late. He is a disaster in SA and Aus. He can score in Aus if pitch is flat. Now he struggling on indian deck. Also he is 38-39. Rahul 32. He has 4 years test cricket. Sent him open he can be hussy or hayden who actually did well after 31. I dont think rohit will play next wtc. Its all about looking at future. Judel is our future and he should bat at 6 bcz he is made for that position. Rahul yash opener for next wtc in england Why too much talk about rohit who can bat at no 6 like he used to do

Thing I get pissed off about the Oz team selection debate in the argument that the players have been winners for so long they have credit in the bank. Not so. They have lost 4 BGT series in a row and the last two at home. Australia have won 4 of the last 17 test matches against India. That is not the performance of serial winners. Flogging Sri Lanka or West Indies doesn’t cover this fact.

Nobody hates KL Rahul, Adam. On the contrary, he's one of the most cherished cricketers. He's had an unfortunate career and that makes us more sympathetic towards him. He's like Rahul Dravid in a sense, who did just about everything for the team, bat at the top, bat in the middle, keep when needed....

Australia was never ahead in the test match, unless you're basing that analysis on bias. A score of 150 by India in the first innings was 1/3 better than Australia's. After that Australia continued to lose every session. Don't sugar coat it, India were 33% better for the rest of the test. At no ponit did I think Australia were going to win the test. Smith and Labuschagne are cooked. Cummings isn't a great captain. The young guy opening is fried by putting him through that. Never mind Jaiswal's sledge, Starc has lost 5 kph or more. Still a great bowler. This could be excruciating.
