So have you been back yet to buy one? I’m on my sixth GSA never look back although I would love your community comradeship of the HARLEY DAVIDSON NETWORK WELCOME TO BMW GO DO IT GO LOOK AT THE RALLY GSA ADVENTURE ,RALLY THEY ARE TALLER AND THE SEAT ADJUSTMENT IS REALLY EASY ON THE BIKE. YOU’RE ON JUST PUT THE KEY AND LIFT THE SEAT OFF AND FLICK THE LEAVES ROUND UNDERNEATH THE SEAT ON THE FRAME.

I did!! I had 10000 happy miles on one. Just sold it last month for an s1000r. My first impressions are uploading as we speak. Absolutely incredible bike, best ive ever owned. Did not sell it for any other reason other than I got an incredible deal and chance to own one of my dream bikes. Will definitely be buying another GS, except a GSA next time in a couple years. Thank you so much for watching and have an amazing year!

I have a LRS and r1250gs ... the GS has been back for ~ sos won't clear, fuel tank won't open 10pm at night in Scotland, abs light, final drive bearing on shaft drive, limp mode which turned out to be battery x 2, tft display stops working.

1:46 - If you come off left there, go down past the Vue cinema and turn right at the lights it'll bring you back onto Exeter Street from the turning you passed at 2:23. Cuts out a couple of traffic lights, a bunch of that traffic, and feeds you straight into the bus lane to dodge the rest. Pro strats haha
@NicTheRip22 күн бұрын
Oh my god You life saver im trying that asap 🤣🤣 thanks man!!
@TheSpectre22322 күн бұрын
@@NicTheRip I gotchu man! 😂 Half the fun of moving somewhere new is learning all the little runs to get around. Similar note, when you're going back out that way you can stay on Embankment Road, it changes to a bus lane going past Prince Rock Primary School, but bikes are allowed in it. It means you can take the bus lane all the way up Exeter Street from Charles Cross Roundabout, straight out onto Embankment Road, bike/bus cut-through, then out and down the Embankment. Cuts out Gydnia Way entirely, misses the average speed cameras (hits a static on Exeter St though), but it's way quicker than the cages have to do.

i have had all 3 superduke , S1000R and Mt10 SP and the yamaha is by far the best built the most fun and the best all rounder and reliable bike i have ever owned. i Currently have a Kawasaki ZH2 and am selling it and going back to the new MT10 SP. your not getting the best out of that bike riding it on a motorway . get it tuned and get it on the back roads and its unbelievable

1:06 - Yeah man, one of my favourite things about Plymouth is how quickly you can get get into the countryside or along the coast, really accessible city and area. Loads of great roads around here, all across the Moors, and in the Summer when it's a bit warmer head further out towards Crediton, chef's kiss 🤌🏻Enjoy!

Yeah, there are many who have made the 'mistake' of trying a gs. I put it off for years. Rode an r9t and fell in love with the motor, then was lent a gs.then bought one. Just so comfortable and immensely capable. you just dont want to get off huh? I now kind guess why gs owners can be a bit aloof. Because quite seriously to ride anything else requires quite some justification. lets as new gs owners change the image.nod wave and smile at everyone!

Most harleys sounds like someone is farting in a drainpipe IMO. No idea why people like that sound. Btw the mirrors on MT10 stock are the same as MT07.
@NicTheRip2 ай бұрын
Its all a matter of personal opinion which is awesome because there's so much to choose from!. I personally love the sound of a Harley, no other bike or brand does it the same, especially any other cruiser. Which is why Harleys are so popular I guess. But again the beauty is there is all that choice out there! I think I would definitely change the mirrors on the mt10 if I had one but thats quite common! Have a good one thanks for watching!

Curious - seems like a significant amount of shaming/stereotyping surrounding ADVs and specifically the GS’ in the UK. In the States, not so much. Bottom line: if you are a Motörhead and appreciate the engineering qualities of said vehicle - Who Gives a Shit? Plus, when I’m riding, whether the GS, Bonnie, or POC Chinese Apollo .., I can’t hear anybody and again, DGAS - at least we are riding. It’s a great bike. PS: why are Harley riders incapable of waving? At least, that seems to be evident in the States. Same in UK/EU?
@NicTheRip3 ай бұрын
exactly that man! Their are a few too many that just think they are too cool to wave - Nobody is too cool to wave. I don't hate people that don't wave, but its nice when people do.

While technically you are right, it didn't feel right sometimes, its a clunky box. If you are accelerating hard its okay but definitely not the best quick shifter around unfortunately.

I have been riding since the 90s, from street bikes to cruisers to sports tourers. My age was catching up and I rode a Versys 650 for 5 years. It was a lot easier on my back and wrists. I traded that in for a GS last year and I think it's an excellent all-rounder. It may not be as comfortable as a Goldwing but then I won't feel like maneuvering a bathtub in traffic. I don't ride very fast and the GS has more than what I need. It has plenty of torque to zip around town and will easily pull away when I want to. I don't think I will buy another motorcycle.
@NicTheRip6 ай бұрын
Exactly this! It's just such a brilliant all rounder! I've now done 4500 miles since buying it a few months ago and I'm still absolutely in love with it!

top vid......its funny when you have both types of bikes in the shed and you still get stereo-typed, depending on which bike you takeout on the day. All bikes are brilliant. It has all the things that most clubs(including Harleys) have, good people and prats, gear freaks and minimalists but once you're used to the BMs, nothing else will do - because they do everything, well.
