We were all young then. Live had no limits. In my childhood we adored Woodstock, HIPPIES and Hippy clothes and livestyle. We had no fear and we seemed to be free. My rich classmates went to India, Poona and Baghwan. Then Aids came up and fun was over. No kissing nothing. Nobody knew how dangerous it was. Like corona starting. Diana was such an Icon because she started shaking hands with ill people. Took babies with Aids on her arms. Never forget it. It was unbelievable. A member of the royal family? Aids became social aknowledgement. No social outstanding anymore. So great.

That was then but now u got junkie's crashed out by the entrance. Panhandlers in the parking lot. No cashiers and half the self service counters closed. The store manager locked in his office sleeping. High prices and expired products. Restrooms that look like a medieval torture chamber. Shall I go on ?? Oh wait, I forgot about the gun battle inside the store. This is Albertsons in Scottsdale. Google it. 😂

Graduated high school in ‘77 . Life was about freedom of adventure. No worries about offending someone or the crap of “woke”. We had a blast . Everyone just did their thing and lived their life to their own beat . It wasn’t perfect but life never is . But it was a lot more laid back and relaxed than today . The times are greatly missed.
