New to the game, and I have to say watching a real game truly help in understanding more about the rules. The commentary was great, and whenever I had doubts I just google the card and I understood better. Awesome video dude, thanks.

Hahaha, I'm just learning about this game. I hope most games are like this one. It was eventful and wasn't one-sided. Thanks for the commentary! I would have appreciated showing the cards on screen, but your commentary (when not completely silent) was great (specially at describing the cards), very easy to follow.

Any game where you can only play cards on your own turn, slow playing two discard spells when they only have two cards, it's not funny at all, and it is bad sportsmanship. If you were in a tournament, run by ravensburger, like if they ever get Grand Prixs or pro tours, you would actually get an infraction.
@stratos4501
@stratos4501 Жыл бұрын
Not necessarily, in a tournament you could easily make the argument that you weren't intending to play the 2nd discard, and there is no way to prove otherwise. It is however kinda bad sportsmanship if you knowingly do it. Just for the reaction bit to each their own I guess.

I played against you many many weeks ago in an online tourney and I gotta say that I really like your deck, especially the backup choices. I’ve been slowly getting the cards to eventually make a Turks deck myself. I just need to get 2 more Al-Cids and some Sephiroths. Great deck tech!

Thank you!! It's been hit and miss on winning lately, but still holds the potential for greatness even though almost all the core cards are 4 sets or more old. If I can't make my new Madeen summon deck work well, I'll probably bring this to Materia Cup.

Take no offence but that is BS deck. If you opponent does not play control it beatable only by luck (as you mentioned lucky EXes, Amateratsu R1 or if opponent has single 11K drop R1 - that actually puts him in disadvantege anyway, as Tseng is a ticking swarm bomb ready to flood the board with OP characters that are hard to kill). Al Cid is a nice touch as he can put Rufus (combo can start here with President Shinra) on the field, that finds and puts Tseng, that has like a 100% chance of putting a Turk on the field and this is how this deck mindlessly spams the board. The only unbalanced card here is Tseng to tell the truth. What you are missing however is Roche - R1 he is automatic point of damage for 0 cost. Solid x1 in deck. To tell the truth, you are playing without backups so it is good call to fill them with Ex bursts.

Thank you for your comments. I'm not exactly clear on what you are telling me though. I have been hit with Amaterasu turn 1 and it can be difficult to recover in time, but it is possible. I don't expect to go to nationals with my decks. They are fun to play and usually have some meme component to them. Thank you for viewing!

@@JoyTCG I am saying it is strong deck that is annoying to play against if you do not have archetype ( control deck) counter or Amateratsu R1. It is easy to pilot, budget monster. You need Shinra starter, FFVII boss deck and you are almost good to go. PS: Put that Roche x1. And you can sometimes finish the game R3/R4 without effort.

What I like about your decks is you’re *actually* building them using just what you have. I get so turned off by these videos for other games where the player has bought all the necessary copies of the powerful cards to build these huge, tournament level decks. That has never appealed to me as a CCG player. I like taking what I have and making it work to the best of its ability. That is the fun of deck building for me. Looking forward to your next video!

Nice deck. I've been playing this myself for a while now and i love it. I would really recommend Cecil (16-051L). And i do prefer the old Shanty over the one you're running. You also mentioned that you're having a hard time with Turks. I would recommend 4cp Cactuar instead of hecatonchier. Cactuar kills everything that battle damage can't solve :)

My dude how dafuq do you expected to do a commentary in a video if everything happens fast? like dude if you want high level bs that a duel last 5 minutes go watch a tournament or Yu-gi-oh. Ohh wait that's right nowadays yugioh is a solitaire game that last like 20 minutes of combos and everything ends after 1 or 2 turns. Some of us want to learn how to play this game, so it is a good speed. Looks like this isn't your cup of tea so be gone with you, mate.

I just found your channel and I am glad I did. This kind of content is sorely needed for our game. It’s important for new players to learn what cards do and how they interact with one another. Especially in a game that has 10+ name Cloud. This kind of content really helps bring in new players and makes the game approachable in general. Magic content does this, where they read and explain the cards, which I believe is what makes the game so popular. Please keep up the good content and continue to play fun decks.
