This man .. this incredible musician. This solo. There is NO ONE BETTER with a 6 string in their hand. My all time hero, have been listening to him since I was 14 I'm 57 years old and it's still like the first time when I hear him play these solos. Picked up a guitar myself about 15 years ago and just recently finished learning the solo from the song "time" and plan on learning anything else I possibly can before my last breath. I am so glad he continues creating music. I had a chance to go to the pulse concert when I was about 23 and missed it and it's one of my greatest regrets. Please David never stop. We love you..

I bought The Wall and Highway to Hell CD at a bus stop in the middle of the night on journey from Ft. Nelson BC to Victoria BC at age 13. I was headed to live with my Father which only lasted about 6 months LOL. I was too much for him. I loved the Floyd but became enjoyed AC/DC much more until later in life.

I'm a Buddhist and secure in my faith towards the teachings of the Buddha. However, the mission was one of the greatest affirmation of the depths of humanity in this movie. One needs not be of any faith to recognize manifestations s of the basic humanity possible in all humans. This film, even in the eyes of buddhism, is one of the greatest examples of all that humanity is capable of. I love this movie.

There are countless guitar virtuosos that can dance up and down the fret board, but only a few that create solos that all their fans know note for note because they are so well crafted. Gilmore has done that over and over, song after song, album after album. That is why he is truly one of the greatest guitarist of all time.

This Oslo always bring me vivid memories of when I first heard it on acid back when I was a teenager in the 80s , I can vividly recall the colors and notes and the process of everything my mind was manufacturing , and I was staring at a completely black white wall , yet I saw so damn much .
