Typing a "v" in a word that starts with a "w" such as "witnessed" is a strange typo, tell me @AhmetAygit, does your language use a "v" in words that normally in English use a "w"? Actually, so is substituting an "m" for the "n" in the same word! Although that change can be easily explained as a simple "Typo" because the letters "n" and "m" are adjacent to one another on the keyboard whereas the "w" and "v" are rows apart. I'm getting on in years and honestly I am prone to making mistakes myself. But the "w" and "v" substitution has me stumped. Hence my question. - Peter age 73

I’m 19 and listen to many types and genre but only the 60s to 80s is this powerful and emotional. Many new artist are doing many amazing mind boggling things but it doesn’t have the same impact. I really wish there was more artist who created experiences like Floyd has. Sadly, but hopefully the resurgence they’ve had on social media clips like Tik Tok can inspire a similar sound in modern times. It has for me and my music. But nothing will ever reach their level. May Pink Floyd outlive us all! Edit - I think artist like John Mayer are a huge step in the right direction but again he has a different emotional appeal where Floyd makes you elevate to different places.

So, in 1981, my neighbor friend's dad heard me playing my guitar, (of course, windows open, 150 watt amp, you get the picture). Later he says to me, "Why do you play so many notes, don't you understand that if you can't sing it, it ain't melody???" So, of course once THIS guitar solo by Gilmour permeated my soul, I finally began to understand exactly what my neighbor's father was trying to teach me. Ever since, I play FAR fewer notes, and make the ALL count, as David does. I am able to evoke emotion as David taught me, albeit not nearly as well of course. And evocation of emotion is the SINGULAR purpose of music.
