Great design but 220000.00 ? Just a couple years ago could buy 2000 sq foot home with some land for that price . These class b RVs beyond crazy prices all of them .

Watching this is a bit painful for me, as I bought another RV a few months ago, paid more than Aeon, and as I use it, I realize more and more that Aeon would have been a better option for my usage by leaps and bounds :(

It looks like the air duck under the seat could be moved more out of the way for more storage. Just a thought. I feel the duck could go straight down to a false floor in that seat box.

The Espar heater is under that seat so no room for more storage. There is so much storage already also.

I think this alone is your biggest selling point, If I were you, I would do one to one comparison and actually show temp differences.read on: I did lots of research before buying my RV recently, one thing no one talked about was temperature, I thought if I had an a/c that would be adequate. Nope, 90 degrees outside, it was 90 degrees inside despite a/c running non-stop. I was in 40 deg temp over weekend, one side was nice and warm, one side was cool and uncomfortable, not balanced.

Jim, there are a lot of things I really love about this design. The bathroom in the threshold is kind of awkward, but its hard to argue with the utility and space savings from putting it there. I love that you kept the length to only 22' and kept the width on the slender side. 23' is the absolute max I would consider and that metric alone rules out a lot of small class Cs. The mini-split, from what I understand, is also a great idea. I would be curious to see how much trouble I would have contorting my 6'3" self through the access door between the cab and the cabin. :) I love that you included those three-point harness seatbelts for carrying additional passengers *safely*. The only other vehicle in the entire small class B+/C category that I have seen that includes proper, *safe*, seatbelted positions for rear passengers is the Ekko. I got into a debate with Dean from Leisure Travel Vans at an RV show about that last year and left the conversation rather disgusted with his blase attitude about proper seatbelts for rear passengers. Truth be told, this is probably more of an offroad adventure vehicle that I had in mind, but were I buying today, I would have to take a very close look at it just for the features. Hopefully, this continues to be a successful venture for you guys and, in three years when I am close enough to retirement to start RV shopping in earnest, I can come knock on your door and see what you folks are offering.
@aeonrv2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We have customers that are 6'5" and getting through the passthrough is not difficult.
@thevagabondonwheels49182 ай бұрын
@@aeonrv Thanks. After watching this video, I watched the Aeon tour video that @shelbssays did and watching the ease at which both of them did it, even though I am sure they are both shorter than me, convinced me that it is probably not as difficult as it looks. A demonstration of this might be something you should consider including in your next tour video. While I would imagine that your customers skew a little younger than your typical class A land yacht, I'm sure you still get and will get older buyers aplenty as well. A little reassurance that a 60 year-old can move back and forth with little difficulty would probably be useful. Unrelated question. I could see myself infrequently putting the stairs down, especially on travel days, but still wanting to go in and out of the side door on occasion. Can you step on the top of the stairs while they are folded up without hurting them? I would assume so, but thought I would ask.
@aeonrv2 ай бұрын
@@thevagabondonwheels4918 We have lots of customers > 60, in fact probably more than half. You could step on the stairs while up, but probably not very safe. Easy to put the stairs down and back up. We give you a red reminder velcro loop with stairs printed on it to put on the steering wheel so you don't drive off with them down.

I like this a lot, but dont understand that pocket door on the bathroom. Why not a swing door on the front corner that could close/ hide the toilet, or 'open' to close off the whole bathroom area when In use.? It would look so much better to not walk by the toilet.

How do you deploy the steps from the inside. Say you want to get out that way or you’re camped somewhere and you have to bug out fast. Let’s say it’s unsafe to get out of vehicle and your steps are down. You have find away to get out of the area due to a situation. Just thinking .
@aeonrv2 ай бұрын
You do not deploy the steps from the inside, You exit through the cab to deploy the steps. If you are worried about an unsafe situation store the steps before you go to sleep. Automated steps are the #1 or 2 things to break in RVs and in addition are not stable as they are not grounded. We much prefer the strong, stable steps we use, especially with a door higher off the ground than a typical non-offroad RV.

@@aeonrv Which is comparable to something like a Winnebago Ekko or the Jayco/Entegra copycat. Granted, those are on a dually chassis but my guess is that this vehicle is much more offroad capable.

Love it , I have a sprinter and the cockpit is so much easier in and out. Ford is tight. The transit should have more power options. Just like the sprinter used to come with manual seat buttons but finally flipped over to power. Ford should do this. It’s still primitive but still nice. The RV is awesome though .

After 10 years of searching i finally got a high end short wheelbase RV, and spending a few days in hot summer and the RV's inability to keep inside cool, I realized what a costly mistake I made.
