It only shows a slight improvement over the base case of releasing the brakes and then turning. THE LITTLE RED DOTS SHOUD RUN ALONG OUTSIDE OF THE CIRCLE. That is what Mark Donohue meant by "filling the circle".😀

I hate the fact that the race and the speed of the cars during the race is determined by the tyres - its supposed to be about the cars not the things they roll on. Hamilton has clearly stated: He did NOT want the soft tires. He REPEATEDLY told the team no, and was shocked he was on softs. The objection to pitting early was to minimize the damage done to him with those softs, and instead his team compounded the mistake.

Mercedes making lewis start on the soft tyre despite his protest to this. Scrubbed soft tyres that dont even give much of an advantage when it comes to launch compared to the medium. Then pitting him early and into loads of traffic. What a clown team.

I dont know why Norris got driver of the day. he has the best car by far, you can't overtake on this track unless you have a serious tyre advantage so his job was too not lose the lead in turn 1 and that's it; guys like Hulkenberg who managed to keep Alonso at bay for ages should be praised. also Leclerc drove a great race despite the frustration. funny how people don't even mention Max anymore, as if he was irrelevant. at the end of the day, the best car wins as always. best drivers are the same though Max, Charles, Lando, Lewis, Alonso, George and Oscar. you give any of those drivers the best car, they're all world champion, simple as.
