I use some pliers to remove the axles and then use a hammer to straighten the bender side

I have that truck

cool way of fixing these trucks that works for me: bend the axles int he opposite direction of the bend. pick up the truck, and spin the wheels a bit. The wheels will stop at the lowest position. pull the wheels slightly straight down so the axle is bent straight downwards. then, bend the wheels upward. If the axle turns upward instead of bending upward, try again. At one point, the axle will have bent against the original bend. This is not a perfect fix, but it is great if the purpose of the toy is for play rather than display. This method works for hotwheels cars as well.

Is this also work for Spin Master truck
@alexgutierrez67464 жыл бұрын
The construction of both Spin Master & Hot Wheels in this regard is basically the same. To soften the plastic, try submerging the toy in boiling water instead of using the soldering iron. This will eliminate any chances of melting plastic parts if touched by the soldering iron. If you are underage, ASK for help from your parents.

Are these the same with normal hot wheels?

No. This only works on monster truck toys.

Great video! I'm trying to customize a grave digger hot wheel for my 12 year old grandson. I could not figure out how to remove the wheels without tearing them up. Thank you for sharing. His truck has ugly grey tires, wondering if anyone has any tips for painting the tires. Thanks again

Did you have a problem with the axle turning, flipping on you in the vice? If so how did you get it to stop. I find the axle bend wants to point up or down every time I try straightening it.
@treygibson70485 жыл бұрын
A good set of jaws on the vise helps. You can also use pliers to hold the end.
Great custom! I just bought the one with the Porsche Speedster. Shoulda made my own. Would love a new subscriber man. Check out the HW city I am making with my little boy.

That’s awesome!!! I’m always looking for hotwheels metal detecting to have that natural wear from being in the ground. Then just add wheels like you did. Nice work looks really sweet.

I really like this track. It would be great if we could see some more of the action. Also the finish camera is super shaky making it hard to watch.

I agree. Still new to the race game. I'm working on some fixes to the shaking and adding a second camera. Thanks for watching. I love your races.
