How hard is it to do the cable routing on this bike? And is the change worth it? I don't need more speed as it's for my son, but I would like the peddle assist to at-least match the throttle speed as I feel the peddle assist is safer for him than the throttle.

Hi, sounds like the Controller got a short caused if the rain/water. I would measure the output of the Controller to the Display and compare with the datasheet.

That's a KT LCD and the stock controller isn't KT compatible. So the answer is no, it's not the original controller.

Sino1985 I also have fiido d2s and wheel in the image is 16inch wheel, no clue about the dimension of the rim but on the tyre it says 16"x1.95. Last night ordered schwalbe road cruiser 16x1.75 I am hoping that one fits.

Just unpacked mine. The air shock in the back appears to be fake, there's a nozzle for air but it's just a dummy, I assume it's just a spring inside.. Is there any way to adjust it? I'm way too light and I have to jump for the shock to compress even just a little bit. :-(

Sino1985 did you know you can set cruise control on this meter? I believe it’s in C1. Press and hold down arrow when Bikes speed is up to 7 km you should then get a cruise control symbol?

Can't I just cut the throttle wires and just install new grips? That would give me the 3 fixed pedal assist modes, right? Does the new controller have gradual speeds so you can just pedal at whatever speed and it adjusts? Kann man nicht einfach die Gashebel-Kabel durchtrennen und neue Griffe installieren? Dann würde man doch Pedelec-Modus mit den 3 festen Geschwindigkeiten haben oder? Hilft der neue Controller bei jedem Tempo, also kann man in irgendeiner Geschwindigkeit treten und er hilft mit?

Wird nicht klappen da das Display mit dem Gasgriff eine Einheit ergibt. Sprich Batterie anzeige fällt weg, Spannungsversorgung (über den Schlüssel) fällt weg dadurch kannst du gar nicht mehr fahren. Vielleicht könntest du es über den Mode Schalter lösen. Du müsstest die Stellung wo du mit dem Gasgriff Mode fährst abknipsen, ist aber keine Garantie, dass es funktioniert. Das würde dir aber auch nichts bringen da du im assist mode langsamer fährst als im gasmode. Deshalb die Empfehlung den Kontroller, Display und PAS auszutauschen. Der PAS hat 12 Magnete, präziser und schaltet gleich ein bei jeder Geschwindigkeit ein.

@@Sino1985 Vielen vielen Dank für die Info, hab das Fiido noch nicht bestellt und bereits alle Info im Web dazu gelesen/geguckt, an manche Details kommt man eben nicht ran. Den Mode-Schalter umzubauen ist natürlich eine Idee, dachte der Assist-Mode wäre 3-stufig (10, 15, 25 km/h). Mit Display und PAS hätte ich dann also Pedal-Assist bei jedem Tempo bis 25, also keine festen Stufen? Der Motor passt sich dann der Pedal-Drehzahl an? Wollte mir ja eigentlich das D2s (mit der 6-Gang Schaltung) besorgen, da bräuchte ich dann wohl 6 Fahrmodi, so dass die Motor-"Übersetzung" zur mechanischen Übersetzung passt. Andererseits, im leichten 1. Gang treten und der Motor gibt Vollgas wär auch was. Gibt es irgendwo online das Handbuch zu der Display-Einheit? Damit ich sehen kann, ob mein Plan aufgeht?

@@Hamachingo Wenn ich du wäre würde ich ein bisschen warten bis der fiido d11 auf den Markt kommt der sieht optisch besser aus. Der hat auch 20 Zoll Reifen und nicht 16 wie beim D2. Das sieht auch ein bisschen besser aus und nicht wie ein Clown auf einen kleinen fahrrad (bei 1,83m Körpergröße). Vielleicht hat der D11 auch einen separaten Gashebel den du einfach demontieren kannst.Zu den Gängen, die Gänge haben nichts mit dem assist Mode zu tun du könntest auch ohne Kette bzw. Gänge fahren bei dem heckmotor. Der PAS Sensor erkennt die Bewegung von der Kurbel und schickt sie an den Controller und der Controller sagt Gas geben je nach eingestellter Stufe. Bei dem Controller den ich habe kannst du die Leistungsstufen einstellen. Es gibt 1 bis 5. 5 ist bis 25 kmh 1 ist glaube ich bis 14 km/h an motorunterstützung. Danach schaltet die Motorunterstützung ab. Ich lasse es immer voreingestellt bei 5. Wenn ich über Schotter in den Kurven starten würde oder bei Nässe dann geh ich mit den Stufen runter da der Motor bei Stufe 5 zu stark beschleunigt.

@@Sino1985 ah, alles klar, keine Fragen mehr offen, vielen Dank. Hab zum D11 beim Suchen nix gefunden, fand 16" eigentlich einen guten Kompromiss. Für 20" hätte ich mit dem Ancheer 20" Klapprad geliebäugelt (scheint von Haus aus schon STVO-konform zu sein), Federung soll beim Fiido aber besser sein und mir gefällt die Optik, Kompaktheit (will 2 davon im Kofferraum oder hinter den Vordersitzen) und der Preis beim Fiido einfach besser.

Ne, 6-pinski kabeli od motora do kontrolera crveno bijeli, crni plavi, zeleni žuti. Bijeli kabel nije spojen jer u motoru nije ugrađen senzor brzine, pa ga morate usmjeravati izvana. Radi li sve ostalo, možeš li voziti?

Pozdrav,video je sjajan i poveo sam se njime i kupio pas sensor kt-v12l i controller kt-lcd 36v,ali moj Fido d 2s ne pokazuje brzinu! Displej je kt-lcd3! Upucao sam sve parametre i mislim da motor brže vrti,ali kilometar sat ne radi!? Pišem iz Hrvatske,a slabiji sam s engleskim jezikom,pa molim za odgovor! Hvala!!!

Pozdrav, ne mogu govoriti hrvatski, ali pokušavam s prevoditeljem. Zar brzina uopće nije prikazana? Ako se brzina prikazuje samo za vrijeme rada motora, potreban vam je vanjski senzor brzine. Hallo Sino1985 Wir haben uns zwei FIIDO D2S gekauft. Nun hätten wir gerne einen anderen Controller, der im ON Modus gleich beim Antretten Motorunterstützung hat und nicht erst nach 2 Sekunden und am besten konstant etc (Eben so wie bei den Normalen E-Bikes) und ein Display wäre auch nicht schlecht. Weißt du ob es da etwas gibt! Plug and Play Anschluss für Dummies oder wer mir Helfen kann ? THX

Hi, ich wüsste nicht, dass es da eine plug and play Lösung gibt. Der Controller, den ich bei den anderen Videos in der Beschreibung aufgelistet habe funktioniert gleich beim ersten treten (der PAS sensor hat 12 Magnete) es gibt auch welche die haben weniger Magnete deshalb dauert es länger bis der Motor anspringt. Du kommst nicht drum rum zu Löten oder die stecker umzubauen auf den neuen Kontroller. Du kannst auch die Leitungen abschneiden und einfach zusammen löten und mit einem Schrumpfschlauch oder isolierband abisolieren. Ich würde dabei die Verbindung einzeln trennen und einzeln verbinden quasi Schritt für Schritt jede Leitung löten.

Hallo Sino, Lob und Respekt für den Umbau und vielen Dank, dass du deine Erfahrung hier mit uns teilst! <3 Ich habe deinen Umbau nachgebaut. Also alle Teile wie du sie verwendest hast und deine Einstellungen 1 zu 1 aus diesem Video (nur das Speedlimit hab ich exakt auf 25kmh gestellt). Habe gerade eine 10km Probefahrt gemacht. Motor setzt innerhalb einer viertel Kurbelumdrehung ein, Ansprechverhalten ist super, viel besser als vorher! Mein Fiido schafft auf gerade Strecke ohne viel Wind nur hohe 21 kmh, niedrige 22 kmh. Bergab zeit dann der Tacho 25 kmh, dafür muss ich aber auch noch ordentlich mittreten. Da hatte ich mir mehr vorgestellt. Also dass der Motor schon bis 25 kmh durchzieht. (Ich bringe etwa 85kg auf die Waage.) Ist das bei dir auch so? Kann ich irgendwas tun? Ideen? Danke!!! <3

Das einzige was mir einfällt ist, dass ich weniger wiege (70kg). Aber wenn die Batterie halb leer ist, komme ich auch nicht auf mehr als 21km/h. Ich bin am überlegen ob ich auf 48v umsteige, sprich anderen Controller und Batterie umbauen. Das sollte es keine Probleme mit der Geschwindigkeit geben. Hoffe der Motor hält das aus.

Nein leider nicht. Bei einer Facebook Gruppe gibt es einen Italiener der einen anderen Kontroller genommen (350W illegal) hat mit Daumengas (auch illegal) am Display. Mit dem soll er angeblich über 32km/h kommen. Ich spiele aber mit dem Gedanken meinen Kontroller gegen einem mit 48V zu tauschen und auch die Batteriespannung zu erhöhen. Mich nervt es, dass wenn die Batterie leer ist das Rad nicht über 22kmh kommt.

How to disable the throttle and the so called moped mode of a brand new Fiido D2 for test rides on the road? When having received your Fiido D2, I'm sure you instantly want to test it on the road. Not to run into trouble with police, just do the following first: Open the housing of the multi-switch (light, horn and 3-step switch) on the left side of the handle. When having done, look at the 3-step switch wiring. In front of you is a brown cable, a green one in the middle followed by a red cable. Now de-sold the green cable and sold it onto the red one (green and red cable share now the same contact, while the middle contact stays free). Now close the housing again. Disregarding the position of the 3-step switch you are selecting, you are in pedal-assist mode and the throttle will be always disabled. You need about 15 minutes to do this. That's it for bike testing. But please take into your account, that you have with this provisional solution only one electrically gear being not the fastest (!) and you don't have the 25 km/h limitation of motor assistance. (But quite frankly, who the hell can ride for a long distance in the plains with fare more than 25 km/h on this tiny bike not pedaling like a hamster in the wheel.) But whatsoever law is law in Germany and therefore please do the necessary modifications a.s.a.p. when having received all components. Thank you for your attention and enjoy the ride.

@Sino1985 Der Motor ist doch der Xiongda Ytw06 oder? Laut Anleitung von meinem KT LCD7 Display müsste Mann bei P1 folgendes einsetzen. Gear reduction ratio x Anzahl der Magnete. Gear reduction ratio wäre bei unter 20 zoll rädern 8.5 und Magnete sind 20 verbaut also wäre 168 richtig für p1?

Falsch, die Zähne der Getriebe spielt dabei eine Rolle. Großes Zahnrad hat 93 Zähne, kleines hat 21, 20 Magnete sind verbaut. Die Berechnung ist oben in der Beschreibung.

Hi. Why are you using C2=1? I have Fiido D2 and KT36V250WLCD5. My settings are the same except C2, and it doesn't work. It can rotate wheel in walk-assist mode, but fails after ~1s in PAS mode. Could you write a resource when we can communicate?

Which PAS Sensor did you have? I have bought the V12L, it has 12 magnets and it's working. Maybe you have to check the wiring of the PAS. I didn't remember why i choose 1 maybe 0 was not working.

Hi, ich habe das auch nur mit Hilfe vom Schaltplan gemacht, du kannst dich nicht auf die Farben von den Kabeln verlassen da die Chinesen alles wild durcheinander machen. Ich kann dir nur empfehlen das Schritt für Schritt zu machen. Fang am besten mit dem Motorphasen an (Die Farben sollten passen, gelb grün blau) danach einfach den Hallsensor Stecker vom Motor kommend mit dem Controller anschließen. Danach die Bremsschalter und den PAS Sensor. Du musst bei den PAS und Bremschalter die Steckverbindungen abknipsen und verlöten oder du bestellst dir die passenden Stecker bei Aliexpress.
