I have a manual transmission Scat Pack too. The low-end torque is just tremendous, which makes it a really fun car to drive in everyday road situations. Cars that have all their power at the high end are harder to enjoy because you need to get on the highway to really open it up.

@DoctorHemi Well said I couldn't agree more. The low-end punch is incredible. Hopefully they eventually put a V8 in the new model chargers. Only time will tell.

I have only heard of one car that lasted 1 million miles it was a 1988 Toyota Corolla with a 4 cylinder engine.

@@Darren-r8l Yes, those engines. Were built well.They definitely stood the test of time. They were also naturally aspirated.

Bro keep your car stock if you want. You have a great looking, running, sounding car. I had a 2012 camaro and was hit head on by a F150. My car was totaled and I broke my femur. I'm not racing my cars either unless I'm on a closed track. A car accident really puts things in perspective about driving. I wasn't going fast the truck crossed the line and bam! I had to learn to walk all over again.

I raced one of these against my 72 olds 442 clone and it was very close but the camaro got me. My car has a olds 455 with 425hp and 518tq. My other car is a 87 buick grandnational with a stock engine rebuild, te60 turbo, lock-up tourqe converter, razor alcohol kit, ported heads. The build is 500hp and 600tq. 11.5 quater mile and a little better on a cold day. My Grandnational build is a as close to factory build as you can get with bolt-ons. My last ride which has been gone for over a year getting built is a 92 gmc typhoon. I'm getting a maxxecu aftermarket ecu, smart coils, distributor delete with a holley cam and crank system replacement. Its awd from the factory. I haven't decided on replacing the stock 700r4 with a 4l80e. I'm probably gonna stay around 400 to 500hp and keep it more stock because its such a rare vehicle. It's also getting a custom racing wiring harness.

The tremec manual transmission is much better than the MT82 gear box in my opinion...I've driven both for extended periods.

I like the S550 over the new S650 even though its basically the same car wish they had went with the tremec manual transmission instead of the MT82 gear box.

The Camaro has always been an icon. A muscle car that is formidable. GM knows how to build a sports car they have pretty good manual transmissions as well better than the MT82 that the V8 mustangs use.

@ 😂 that’s funny cause I’ve always beaten a lt1 , simple math proves other wise when I’m pushing 430 hp and 390 tq with headers and cai , while the Camaro is pushing in the 390s still for both after drivetrain loss 😆

Chevy's gen 5 small block has been nothing short of spectacular first introduced in the C-7 Corvette it's a nice V8 pickup up where the LS left off... But much more efficient and of course more power.

I love a good manual transmission there's nothing like it especially in a V8 muscle car. Tremec has been known to make good manual transmissions. The Shelby GT 350 has a 6 speed manual tremec transmission also.

for the testing does the electrical wiring has to be connected when you take off the hose only? Or does the electrical wiring had to be off as well ?

@@musclecars92 sounds good . I had the electrical wiring off and nothing was happening. I plugged it in , put my index finger and I was feeling suction so it’s definitely defective . I also have the p0455 code

@Yosemite23 Yes i would go ahead and replace it, then clear the code with a scan tool. Take the car. On a ten to fifteen minute test drive make sure no codes re appear.

As a owner of a 6th gen Camaro SS with a 6 speed manual transmission, I can honestly tell you that it is one of the best manual transmissions on the market.You will not be disappointed if you decide to go with the LT1 manual.

I just got this code this morning when I was leaving for work. The car is running fine but I want to take care of it and not allow the dealer to rape for what you showed is a simple fix. No that shouldn't be a problem if you don't have a check engine light and it didn't throw a trouble code you're fine

Exactly the ZR1 is a beast high hp car, a true testament To how much Horsepower the TREMEC TR 6060 manual gearbox can handle. Would have been great if ford used that gearbox behind all their manual mustangs.

I got mines at my local ford dealership it's a ford genuine part. It's called the purge canister valve. The part number is also on the bag. I show it in the video I hope this helps.
