I printed it, but the motor hub spins inside the spiral. What is supposed to create friction between the hub and the spiral? Thanks.

It’s ridiculous that in one of the richest countries of the Earth there is no highway from the capital to the second biggest city. Imagine this in Germany or Austria.
@markuserikssen
@markuserikssen 18 күн бұрын
It's very sparsely populated and most Norwegians take planes because it's much faster and relatively affordable. The weather conditions in the mountains can also be harsh and unpredictable, especially in the winter.

@@markuserikssen Ja, det er sant, men tenk på det da Sveits eller Østerrike på alpene 🤷‍♂️ Der er fin motorveier også. Hadde vært fantastisk minst en to-felt vei hver retning fra Oslo til Bergen.

@@gabornagy3888 I think the difference with Switzerland and Austria is that these countries are smaller and have a higher population with more bigger cities in between. Besides that, these countries are surrounded by countries with big populations, so the routes are used to connect other parts of Europe. They are also much more touristy. Bergen is basically a dead end in a sparsely populated region, even though the city region still has a decent population. I do agree that a highway would be much better between Oslo and Bergen, but I can understand why it didn't happen. (I'm not Norwegian or Scandinavian but can understand what you're saying)

Yes, I too would prefer a four hour screening of this drive, but the other versions of this trip are all about the drivers and not the scenery, so this is better for my imagination.

I'm curious, what mechanism are you using specifically for detecting ball hits?
@jonathanleslie9100
@jonathanleslie9100 Жыл бұрын
the copper spring surrounds 6-8 vertical copper uprights. The uprights are all connected to the gpio pin, and the copper spring is connected to the ground. when the ball pushes the spring to touch the uprights the circuit is completed allowing for the input to register in the arduino/single board computer.

@@nickboston4559 no worries. I'm going to add a solenoid under the bumper as well so I can activate a plunger to squeeze down on the ball and shoot it out of the bumper like a real pop bumper in a pinball machine

@@nickboston4559 you actually don't need the SBC for the led or the solenoid, only for the scoring.

I prefer viewing videos at normal speed to enjoy the scenery and read signage along the way. My videos are all at normal speed only, never in fast-forward mode. I have travelled on the same route Rv 7 via Geilo and Hardanger Bridge - a very scenic drive via snowbound plateau and large fjords..

Many thanks for sharing this great model with the community. Initially, however, I assumed that the 5 V power supply would be sufficient. Since that's not the case, I made up a simple circuit by myself and put it into a KZbin video with a short explanation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eF64pJ13etOtibc I hope you like it ;-)

To be quite honest, i do NOT appreciate a video from one end to the other in a FAST FORWARD-modus. I am the one who is interested reading signs along the road. Nearly impossible this for the reason mentioned in this my Comment. Sorry🙁.
