I visited her many times while she was in Greenport. Can’t wait to see her again in mystic!

Ruth was a culture-maker, as I call it, them, not a culture receiver. She changed the culture worldwide by talking clinically but appraochably about sexual issues, problems, behavior, relieving many people of guilt, silence, and spreading joy as well, which included her bubbling personality. She was a phenomenon!

Aside from what happened with the controversial Central Park 5 and her cancellation, she really was one hell of a writer. She was a master at endings. Never too rushed, sudden, or incredulous. She was way better than Patricia Cornwell at endings IMO. Many of Patricia’s always felt too rushed or too overly condensed. I truly loved Linda’s Alexandra Cooper series.

This video is 10 years old, I woulder how much of this goes on now because googleing it brings up very old videos. We had a track in a park in Indiana back in the 60's but it never really got used, unfortunately these type of real hands on hobbies have about died out as the younger 2 generations may not even step outside or even off their couch for that matter, they think that pushing a couple buttons is reality. At least some of the kids will compete in R/C cars, hope is not lost.

Not only can this girl skate but she has an engineering degree from Stanford and a medical degree from Northwestern, all earned after her Olympic heartbreak. It’s great that she has emerged from a dark place and come back to the world of skating. In my view that is her greatest achievement. She has so much to offer.

"Most all is closed to non-residents and getting the youth involved is essential to protecting this secret garden for future generations" - sound like wealthy privilege that is exclusive.

Killing JFK ensured there would be no Kennedy succession. He'd have gotten a 2nd term then RFK and then likely Ted. Killing JFK then RFK scared Ted off. No 24 years of Kennedys. Would the country have been better off? Who knows?
