Mr. Hirsch is one of the finest presenters and commentators on classic films around. I could listen to him for days on end speak about classic cinema. A true genius!

What was actually best about the 1950s was the Westerns, but people probably think of films that won the Academy Award. Rear Window is pretty good, but as far as the rest..........go hunt up some Westerns with Randolph Scott, Joel McRae, Fred MacMurray and people like that.
