An important thing to point out is that everyone who works off of the brotherhood's documentation are doomed to fail, because everything past the creation of the "reel" is working off of the assumption that the reel contains effectively a "blank" entity for them to shape into something beneficial - not a pre-existing entity that saw their reel and used it to enter them. Killing all the hosts/believers doesn't work because Lila wasn't made by them. Also, I would not be surprised if the reason Lila "spared" Will was because of his reaction to the other members also talking about Lila. It seems they were talking as Lila belonged to ALL of them and they were vying for her favor to get her to "choose" them, while Will's immediate reaction to this information was feeling betrayed, disbelief, bitter, and even some anger at the rest of the brotherhood. The one other surviving member Will/we meet speaks in a way that seems to imply he only became bitter after Lila "chose" Will and stopped talking to him. I think it would make sense for an entity that feeds off of negative emotions to choose the one person in the group vying for its favor who holds animosity towards everyone else in said group before said choice is made.

I IMAGINE the entire level will be a FLESH LABYRINTH drawing parallels to the Daedalus Labyrinth. Tantalus was so powerful that a Flesh Prison or even Panopticon couldn’t contain him, so they instead had to trap him in a maze that’s impossible to navigate, which would allow him to remain there as he constantly searches for an exit in the Flesh Labyrinth
