Excellent reference to That Dragon, Cancer. That is perhaps the only game I had to stop playing for a while because of emotional impact. It's an absolutely beautiful masterpiece that will leave you in tears. Quintessential video game as empathetic art

I came across this particularly peculiar game a few years ago. I was convinced that this product wasn't real,just some people toying around and making something that seemed like a game,but it actually wasn't. But then,i found a link to this game,and played it myself. I couldn't believe that what i was perceiving was real. I then grew fond of it,as I'm a fan of these obscure,forgotten games that only a few individuals know about. I loved the unsettling and somewhat sickening aesthetic,i tremendously liked the characters ( though i wish they were given names ), the soundtrack was immensely catchy and really helped increase the scare factor,and i loved the attention to detail,though the gameplay was boring,and the controls were... Certainly something. I'm honestly surprised at how compelling the story is ( especially in the second game ) Needless to say,i am very happy someone covered this. Astonishing video ❤ i also had no idea this game got a sequel,so i might check that out ;⁠-⁠)

only game i have seen get over this level of obscurity and absurdity is the EASTERN MIND game series made by osamu sato the game is a point n click adventure game kind of like a puzzle game but its less about solving puzzles and more about screwing around with EVERYTHING osamu sato is the man who made LSD dream emulator, but somehow the games were lost media. but now that we have em, you should 100% check them out eastern mind: lost souls of tong nou eastern mind: chu teng and you also need a mac os 8 or early windows virtual machine to play them but its fine

nah I disagree with him, obviously art is subjective and all, but I consider all video games to be art, like even bad art is art so why we blocking video games. Saying something isn't art because its entertainment is like saying music isn't art. Plus I find all art entertaining like even art I dislike, its fun idk. like it took ages for movies to be considered art, lets not do that for video games guys.
