The first time i saw this i thought that this film was made by some studio, but not just one man... Masterpiece. And the soundtrack to it became one of my favourite examples of classic music. Absolutely brilliant!

The saddest part about that ending is that the planet he is on, was most likely terraformed by humans. It explains why it changed entire planetary conditions in mere decades, and why the humans were trying to explore space. They wanted to see the planet to know how to colonize it. Now that it’s fully or mostly terraformed, humans will probably be landing on it soon. I have an idea for a sequel btw. Here ya go: So after the humans land rockets, they instantly start building cities and eco friendly power plants cuz it’s the future. So humans build cities near that mountain, making tons of noise and annoying the mountain. Then people suddenly stop… *until the screams.* People scream in terror as robots run rampant, destroying the city. The mountain gets ever more annoyed and tries to cover his ears, but it doesn’t stop. Soon the Millitary arrives and a huge battle begins. They beat the robots but some escape. Finally silencing it and letting him sleep. Then humans drill into him to mine valuable ores they found inside him, to fuel and produce their weaponry to fight the robots. He’s mined down to a boulder where he escapes the humans, to be found by the robots. Observing him to be sentient, they try to kill him and laser him to pieces until he’s a pebble. Right when they were abt to finish him off, the humans arrive and destroy the robots. He had never been more happy to see the humans. The humans pick him up though with cranes anyways, to turn him into ammo for their weapons. They run into battle in one final charge to decide the fate of humanity. He’s shot out and lands in a robots energy core, which is pretty much its heart, deactivating the robot. But he’s still in there, stuck inside, trying to silence the noise and screaming. Eventually, humans do beat the robots and win the war. But that robot he is in, grows mold on it, and rusts. All while the planet itself heals, and human technology advances even more, taking to the stars. He only watches through a hole in the robot as thousands of spaceships take off, ready to colonize distant stars. He sheds a tear, being proud of humanity. After all, he personally watched it evolve and grow. Now they’ve reached the pinnacle of technology and grown as a species.
