This world ain't easy, even for the rocks. You get hurt, you get carried away, and you feel like some parts of you wear out. But in the end, everything gets okay and you find peace, just like this rock does. This masterpiece tells so much about our lives despite being only a 6-minute film. This is probably one of the best clips I saw in KZbin...

I would then like to know what happens when several of the rocks are put together. Like in making of the camera glass. Are all their collective thoughts an memories merged? Why did the rock from our story prevail over others? Or was it not the rock from our story? :D

No the humans in the movie clearly used the rock for their own purposes, sometimes too roughly and other times too precisely, but it all finally forms a cycle. So it may be reflecting our varying levels of impact on nature by personifying it, NOT a person's struggles itself.

I also remember being very fascinated about the story, and I still remembered this to this day. The only problem was that I couldn't find this anywhere, and now like 10 years later I find it in my recommend! I love this story/animation.

There was a Mountain who lived far away Admiring all the wildlife at his bay. But little did he know Luck wasn't on his side As he was prepared to be in a not so nice ride. A man was cutting a tree above As the mountain thought nothing to worry about. The noise got louder so he needed a place to love So he walked and walked until he found the correct route. The people at his bay thought his size was just right As he was cut and shaped into with all his might. As he waited to be brought to his room Day by day he was faced with the circles of doom. Soldiers arrived to bring him somewhere As he was cut, grinded, bent as he sunk into despair He was part of a mission that could be otherwise He saw it in agony with his very eyes. He had to walk a lot and lot Until he found a comfy spot. Everything was nice until a man came He's part of the reason why things couldn't be the same. He was placed in a museum and it was a spectacle But then an overexcited person shook his soul. He fell into a bin and wasn't noticed at all Until he was thrown out and was looking a little small. A frustrated man kicked it and kicked it off the sidewalk Until he had enough and threw the rock. Right through the window and on the man's head, He wasn't too happy what more can be said? He was ran over as he couldn't fight back He was so small that he couldn't keep track. He didn't know what was happening but then he thought things were nice Until heavy machinery scooped him and his danger would be full of spice. He was pushed into lava with a face so unsure He was turned into glass confused of his surroundings. He was send on a shuttle where he was exposed to space's fur Until he finally crashed into some rocks that were doing nothing but lounging. He was falling from the thinking this was ot Until he crashed into another planet. He fell into the bay of the place But then he grew which took over lots of space. Earth is a wonderful place Endless possibilities can be achieved like tying a shoelace. What ever comes up must come back down, That sometimes isn't sometimes the case from a smile to a frown.

Yeah, there could be a secret mine of uranium inside him that humans want, so humans mine his body down to a hill with futuristic technology, similar to the size of him in 0:37. So then humans make a city on his head, so he breaks off the ground with the semi-constructed city on his head like a hat. And he tries to sleep on another hill, but once again the humans bother him and try to chip chunks of him off with a laser, next thing he knows, he’s a boulder. But then robots conquers humanity, and crush him down, and bake him into a nuke. (Because of the previous supply of uranium in him). So he’s used in like an asteroid shooter, and get flinged back to earth, blowing up a continent, in the explosion, he gets reduced to a pebble, and flung millions of miles into an ocean. A fish accidentally consumes him, and gets radiation poisoning causing it to die, but then a human catches the fish in some post-apocalyptic wasteland (after the robot invasion) and the fish’s intestines get thrown away on the ground, so then an eagle picks up the intestines and carry him away, so then he flys out of the fish intestine a falls into some canyon, where he gets further chipped on a rock. And there’s a little stream in the canyon that he just so much flys off the rock and falls into, so he gets outsourced to the ocean, where he eventually washes up on a beach, as a grain of sand. So then an automated robot picks him up kinda like a crane, and forges him into glass, the glass is them forged into the sensors of a robot, so then the robots (him as a lens inside one) invade a human colony, the humans are victorious and recycle the robot (specifically the part of him) into ammunition for a sniper rifle, so then he gets shot straight into a robots motor, and he gets chipped up similar to how he did in 3:38 so then he’s a particle of rock, and much, much later on, humans recycle that part of the floor into concrete for a research complex, but then the robots blow it up and he gets flung (now as a a chunk of concrete) into a volcano, which eventually eroded into a hill then a mountain once again.
