Hello! I love your work. I was wondering if the E36 or E46 kit is compatible with the E39 M54 engine? If not, do you have any plans to release one in the future?

Hey I was driving this event and wanted to mention the tire wear , my car makes 304whp and I went through one pair of kenda kr20 and less then half of another pair for both days , with me also linking full track , so the tire wear for me was very very good .
@Jan2594tax441Ай бұрын
Love the idea of a spring event! Felt like the emphasis from Swan in the drivers meeting was important , helped cure the load in gripes, the trailer not being on pit was different but ended up not being an issue for anyone I talked with, tire wear was fine just a big track, favorite track in the world, please keep here or in southeast, really great job with a great team, right turnout, and perfect track

I thought itd of been cool for some of the grip drivers to actually run a quick 5 to 10 lap race kinda how the drifters got the big entry comp. Idk how well thatd work for time but just a thought. If not a race then maby just a challenge to who can get the quickest track time. The drift cars were fun as hell to watch but hert and chase was cool to see and how they were pushing their grip cars. Amazing weekend overall with hardly any complaints. Thank you chase bays and cant wait for the next one

Any possibility of a Porsche 996 setup coming in the near future? If so, I will cancel work on my vacuum pump setup for keeping the power brakes. Honestly I'd rather have a good manual system with leverage increased properly. If you need a development car, maybe we can talk! (BTW, I LOVE your manual brakes setup in my E36 drift car, and it doesn't even have the leverage increasing mechanism.)

Problem is that you can diy it for under 100$, and still have the same quality. OR buy an aftermarket pedal box for under 500$. European drivers know this though, luckily/sadly Americans have endless amounts of money.
@ChaseBaysTVАй бұрын
@@SamiiTubeHD would love to see this function and quality setup for under $100, more power to ya sir.

@ChaseBaysTV will tag you if i do it on my practice car/ pro car.
@ChaseBaysTVАй бұрын
@@SamiiTubeHD awesome! And it has to be what we offer. It has to have a raised pedal ratio bracket, clevis, pushrod, new Master Cylinder, Proportioning Valve, and 100% plumbed 3AN brake lines all for under $100. May the force be with you. 🫡
@Spiritof_76Ай бұрын
What diy setup are you referring to? I have a car I'd rather not spend $1000 on for a brake master cylinder set-up.
@SamiiTubeHDАй бұрын
@Spiritof_76 Well, if you want a dirtcheap version, just use a steel plate and bolt a master cylinder to it. I have not started designing my DIY setup yet, but will have it done before next season. I only know bmw though, but design/concept should apply to various other brands.

Only gripe I have is the aluminum fittings, won’t use those in brake setups. Switched all mine out for stainless.
@ChaseBaysTVАй бұрын
@@jasonlouis5498 the hose, hose ends, hard lines, and banjo bolts are SS. The tube nut / sleeve and Banjo’s are aluminum. For those uses there is no reason to gripe about it, they are used successfully on the highest forms of Motorsports on braking systems. If it’s good enough for them it should be good enough for us.
@tracymorgan571Ай бұрын
You said nothing about caliper piston area. Why? This is tremendously important with manual brakes. You sell the e36 as just one application, but the m3 and non-m3 e36's will have very different caliper piston areas. What is the preferred piston area for the e36 application of this manual brake conversion?
@ChaseBaysTVАй бұрын
@@tracymorgan571 thanks for the comment! This isn’t totally correct, it is not tremendously important. With a proper MC size and pedal ratio the caliper piston area becomes far less important with a tandem master cylinder like this. With 2 piston front, 1 piston rear vs 4 piston front, 2 piston rear and same brake pads you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference in pedal travel for the 90 to 99% braking. We’ve personally tested this first hand on 22 different chassis, ranging from 1 piston front / drum rear all the way to 6 piston front / 4 piston rear. Real world testing is real! We can do a video explaining this soon. 👍

I have had to fight these same transmission issues a few times and you are taking it well; it is extremely frustrating to loose time when doing your best to fight for pace. That said there are some mitigation steps you can take to prevent the issues from happening as frequently. I hope to see some of that next season! Maybe try a Different shifter? I am Running The IRP shifter & i love it. feels great. very notchy. a lil more adjustable. Plus you do not have to use the Kpower shifter base plate. Just bolts to factory position. but you do have to flip your selector rod 180 out to use it. I know Peter Granderg (who is killing it in clubTR this year) & few othere are rinning one. Also kpower did make more improved Selector rod
