54 seasons, I've been a Quacker Backer, I've seen so many bad seasons. Ducks O-line was a little rusty. Bo Nix's first game as a Duck was a lot worse and came with a L.

I'm a BSU fan so im no stranger to delusions of grandeur but the amount of mental gymnastics you have to do to come to the conclusion that they played poorly because their coach wanted them to play just poorly enough to not lose, for humilities sake is wild. Don't get it twisted you guys will probably work out the week one kinks and beat us, but if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck... It's probably a duck.

I can't bet, especially when the Ducks are concerned. If I bet against the spread they'll win by 50, if I bet for the spread, they'll lose by .5. If I bet on 3 teams 2 of them will win, if I bet on 13, 12 will win. There's ALWAYS a loss in there somewhere.

You must not have been watching very long. There have been so many games where the Ducks pissed away a 3 touchdown lead and lose. They survived with a W. Better than Bo Nix's first game as a Duck.

I agree that it's too soon to overreact.... Offensive line play was a mess. I like that Tez Johnson in the postgame interview said DG seemed a bit tentative.... It sounds like he knows how well DG can play when he's all go... Got to fix that O-line play. Need to be able to run the ball.... I need to protect the quarterback!

I think if that OL begins to hit its stride and shows consistency, the run game improves, which opens up the middle/deep concepts. I’m truly excited to see how Dan and Coach Terry are able to get that group turned around and refocused. Saturday is a major “Prove It” day for the Ducks.

I can understand peoples concerns but I think too many people are throwing in the towel already. I trust our talent, coaches, and development. If Oregon comes out flat again for a second consecutive week, then we might be having a very different conversation.

@@HightopSportsoregon Absolutely. I think for what ever reason because we are so used to blowing teams out of the water that a 10 point win makes people lose their minds. Granted our offensive line looked bad, but we still won…. People are acting like we lost. 1-0 is 1-0. At the end of the year when we are in the playoffs people will forget about the Idaho game…. Us as Oregon fans can be a bit dramatic at times 🤣

Potentially at times. I’m hesitant to give that merit just because Idaho also had to deal with the conditions. But truly, maybe you’re on to something. Maybe it’s more of a conditioning problem than anything. We’ll probably have that answered on Saturday.

Hey Oregon O-Line!! Question: Do you think that Boise State's D-Line is better than Idaho's? Or, or, same question regarding Oregon State or Ohio State's D-Line???? Really pathetic effort and if you don't improve GREATLY, you WILL sink the Oregon Ducks' Football team because, at the end of the day, the Offensive Line is the key to any team's success. I think that a 8 - 4 season and no playoff invite is what I see. Really disappointed.

Yes, based on what we saw today, AND let me add what we saw ALL other Power 5 schools that were playing perceived lesser opponents (domination), Oregon is overrated. Disrespecting and playing down to opponents happens in all sports, team as well as individual. It's a very real part of what can happen in sports and this is the primary reason we see upsets in sports. In addition, when one is "playing down" to an opponent, this is when more injuries happen. This is what happened today. It can be corrected BUT, I think that the foundational problem could be something more than just disrespecting your opponent. Can't put my finger on it yet but will say that today's effort is not what i would have expected from a Dan Lanning led team.

Oregon didn’t look cohesive today. The 0-line didn’t push and play strong together in order to create gaps for the run game. -Oregon played more vanilla today with limited rpo’s and chalked up plays. Not stretching the field with the deep ball and a poor running game made us look average.

Terrible game. This was probably the worst team we’ll play this year and that’s a scary thought considering the outcome. It all starts up front and our O-line was bad. Pressures, penalties, etc. We have to be able to run the ball or we won’t be the team we thought we’d be this year. I’m happy with our defense for the most part, aside from a few mishaps and some trick plays. Can’t lie though, I’m really worried about Oct. 12 now. 😬

It wasn't an investigation. It was an accusation. When asked what evidence they had, "coach prime" said "nevermind". Then out of an abundance of caution the company did an audit and said "nope, no one looked at your shit bro". I don't think any Ducks fan is upset by this. Probably just laughed it off like I did.
