Cool video, wish you would mentioned GTR2 and Shift2 a bit more and did a comparison since they are the base which Project Cars was built off of. There are features in all 3 that didnt carry over to each one. Shift even has models carried over from GTR2 and Project Cars has models carried over from Shift 2 lol. They all have a similar feelings too since its the same developers. Idk if you are referring mainly to the console version of the game but on PC, PC2 was perfectly playable on a controller. Idk if they patched it at some point but Im playing through the career again and it handles fine on a controller even in 2024. Its funny that part 2 is always the better version of their games lol. GTR2, Shift2 and PC2. PC3 gets a bad reputation solely on the name, its actually a really good game and it feels pretty much like PC2 once you turn off the assists. The structure of the game was what was different and the sim crowd was just not happy about that, even though it was still a good game. It was indeed more of a GRID type of game but thats not a bad thing. All the negativity could have been avoided had they simply named the game something else. Much like the NFS players hated NFS Shift because it had NFS in the title and it wasnt truly a NFS arcade game. They wisely dropped the NFS label for Shift 2, but it should have just been Shift the whole time. With that experience you think they would know to name PC3 something else but some people never learn. I always played the Project Cars games more like an arcade-sim style of game because they allow you to do so, thats why I didnt mind PC3 being closer to Shift2. I prefer that kind of career anyways where you buy and build your cars like PC3/ Shift vs the GRID/Toca/PC style where the cars and events are preselected for you. I can enjoy both but some people just cant enjoy anything it seems lol.

Good game, limited amount of cars though. Thame btw that the Jaguar dlc isnt really available anymore. It really was more or less just a more aggressive open world Hot Pursuit though. I preferred the more arcadey Hot Pursuit remake myself though. More cars, the pursuit tech was more realistic, the cop dialogue,b & fhe way you see busts & intros to cops un general was just more enjoyable imo.

I still enjoy MW2012 despite the history and flaws, but Rivals was great except the physics, which is the worst of any NFS game i ever played Lastly, Rival cops > MW05 cops

Hands down one of my favorite games of all time. The driving is smooth and the gameplay feels very satisfying plus the locations and the roads are absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. Very underrated game!

I loved that Hot Pursuit didn't have a bunch of customization. Picking the car and color got me to the action quicker. Fantastic game.

At the end of the day, xDefiant was put into a death by 1000 papercuts situation. There are many people to point fingers at, but I would say the main culprit is Ubisoft for not taking a chance on Mark and his team. They were given the bare minimum and threw up the FPS equivalent of an NFL hail mary pass. And like a good majority of NFL hail mary passes, they end up falling short or getting knocked down by a bigger player (call of duty). also geez I need to invest in a pop filter

I bought this on steam yesterday but after seeing the 30 FPS cap I refunded it!!!

This was the first game I ever played when I desired to grow out of games like Mario Kart. My uncle showed me this on his PS3 AND PS4, and I've loved it to death ever since. People complain about what it should have been, but fail to understand what it is. What it was for me, and still is today, is a heck of a lot of fun, blood-pumping action that I can always rely on when other racing games don't scratch the itch.

I used to play this game with my best buddie back in the days. Was hella lot fun. Miss the feeling playin as we played against each other :D

Driving in rivals is some sort of fever dream, mixed with adrenaline and this sense of speed that just makes you feel like you're gonna get very bad whiplash from just watching it. Oh and don't get me started on driving at night, blind turn after blind turn in the dark, traffic cars and police pop out when you least expect them to, and the reaction time you gotta have to dodge them.

The sense of speed and handling on this game was incredible

Dawg I was obssessed with this game at one point. The months I'd put into just getting my handling and tuning perfect against oncoming traffic and playing albums and playlists on Spotify to be the soundtrack behind my times on this game, are going to stick with me for a longtime.

This game was had an amazing soundtrack to match but I was completely crushed I realized how limited this game was and to the fact it was not what it was advertised to be.

I play pretty much only on weekends and have around a 1.6 kd just reach prestige 2 and I literally have to be fully locked in sweating my ass off to to play decently now, makes it not very fun when I just want to chill and not try hard.
