Great video bro you just taught me something I've been wondering about how to connect the enclosure to the B pillar definitely going to incorporate this into the build still trying to decide if I should glass the floor or spend the extra money and get vibraflex and a torch i picked up a trick off a video yesterday where they are epoxy resining the entire inside of the enclosure to completely seal it up air tight and makes it completely smooth for better airflow the idea is definitely coming together on the drawing board just need a little warmer weather and im gutting the car and getting started
@808PatAnderson2 сағат бұрын
@@SlamryCamry19 happy to help 🤙🏽 money is definitely a factor but when doing the floor, do it right, cuz it’s a pain to go back to that stage and fix it (depending on build) I would have done mine differently if I could go back. Which I’m sure I’ll end up needing to change it soon. But fiberglass and resin can get pricy too.

I have a question i have 2 4512's on 2 stetsom bravo bass 8ks 1 per sub at 1 ohm trunk build i have them in my old box i use to have my avatar stu's in it's 5.05 cubes net so my box builder to ld me i need a slight smaller box like 4.5 cube cause of the power i have on the 4512's just curious if that makes any sense cause the 4512's are way bigger than the stu's i had what do you think ?
@808PatAnderson4 күн бұрын
@@MarkTolosa-p3l I’d start with how are the subs performing? If they’re exceeding their mechanical limits (bottoming out) then a smaller airspace could help add more suspension. A 12 is still a 12 though. I typically start around 2.25 per 12 sub but if you already have the 5 cube box and they’re doing okay I’d stick with it. It’s better to build slightly bigger and do some testing. Try screwing some wood inside the box to take up some airspace and see if it helps you or makes it worse. I wouldn’t build a whole new box over half a cube. Just keep in mind the airspace adjustment will affect the port tuning. Make sure to subscribe to the channel and thanks for checking it out. I’m always happy to help 🤙🏽 I’m pretty sure if seen your set up on Facebook.

Was looking into running scib in my camry. What would the limit be on scib with 1 alt? I plan 2 7ks at 1ohm and 5k of mids and highs. I think 370 is the most amperage i will get from an alternator in a 2.5l. Not sure how much ah id need, or if i could even handle that much wattage with a single 370-400a alt

If you need more room for your amps behind your front seats cut into the box and make like a little cubby hole for your amps and battery if necessary and of course seal it off really good I did mine that way it goes back 39 inches x 41 in And I made all the difference cuz I had no room in back The box was big enough that it didn't matter that I took out a little space in the bottom chamber. . Just a suggestion, I didn't think about it until mine was built to and I had to go back and cut into it to make space for what I needed. It sucks but it actually worked out pretty good.😊

@@Craneop817 I wired them in parallel with a switch inline on the positive wire. Connected all the positive wires together and then all the negative wires together.
