not sure if u knew or not but your playlist for this seems to be sorted backwards meaning it has the newest episodes first in the order and the oldest last thus making it feel awkward to watch them non-stop for those that choose to do so

I think the purple noise meter does have one important use that you didn't mention: it's helpful for understanding which actions make "noise" that enemies can hear, since, as you pointed out, it doesn't always line up with the game audio. Something like sprinting, which doesn't seem any louder than armor clanking, makes the purple meter spike, but you can see that your armor doesn't affect it at all unless it has a stealth buff. I think the best example of detectable "noise" vs game audio is whistle-sprinting vs throw-sprinting: the apparently silent whistle-sprinting makes "noise" and the clanky throw-sprinting doesn't. (In both cases sprinting makes you pretty loud anyway, but it's interesting how the huge radius and volume of a "whistle" takes effect instantly even when the sound effect is canceled.) The other main thing I noticed about detection while playing is that Guardians of any type don't seem to have ears and rely entirely on sight, meaning stealth buffs are pointless. You can sprint around, whistle, and make loads of noise right behind a Guardian, and it won't have any idea you're there until it turns around. (Eye-shots can also reset their detection, I think, but I'm not sure how that works.) Is this true of any other enemies? One thing I'm curious about that you didn't touch on is how _darkness_ affects detection, like in the Thyphlo Ruins. I remember Keese having about the same instant detection radius, but I don't remember if other enemies had a harder time; it would make sense if they did, but maybe they didn't bother to program that interaction.
