So...when you drop your zero health points, your character goes unconscious and you have to make death saves. Death saves are made to a) give other players time to heal you and b) determine if your character stabilizes or dies. Rolling a nat 1 is equal to two failures. Rolling a nat 20 is equal to two successes. Hope that helps! The counter is a super cute idea!

@alieninabox So...at Michael's - the craft store, my friend and I actually found these teeny tiny little leather bags in the jewelry making section. They look like mini leather bags and put them in our journals as tiny bags of holding. Maybe you could find something similar?

I loved it, please consider making more shop vlogs in the future! I find them really interesting, also I myself wish I had a place like this in my city- as in not only a store, but an extra place to relax (I think the proper term is "third places") :( I know I'm really late too, but still, happy Trans Awareness Week!

20:35 adding on to this, I remember in one of your old sketchbook tours you talked about one of your OC's (i forget the name at the moment) who had a stutter and was a bit of a nerd and as someone who also has a bad stammer and is a bit of a nerd it made me feel really validated and seen 🥺❤

I’m not sure how long I’ve been watching your channel, I do feel like it must’ve been from the beginning. Regardless, I’ve stuck around for the cozy vibes and cause I really love your sketchbook tours! Also, side note, I kinda love that there’s no music in the video I think it adds to the slow and chill vibe.

Halfway through the video and I can’t believe it’s been 9 years!! I swear I started watching you like yesterday 😭 9 years ago I was like 11 and first trying to do art so I would search up art tutorials. I think I found your channel when I was like 13? I remember watching your artist struggle videos and enjoying them so much 😂 Also Dan and Phil!! I go through the same phases too! I’m so sad that I missed their tour. I was too scared to go by myself and none of my friends and family watch them so I didn’t go when they went to my state 😔 Also also, markers are so hard to use but I’m too impatient to use watercolor so I use markers very badly instead 😂

Missed your sketchbook tours so much! I always love how vibrant your artwork is, it really inspires me to practice more and just create in general. Also I was here back when you redrew Flex for fun, it's amazing to see how much of a strong, developed character he's become over time 😭❤ (Btw I don't know if it'll help or not, but personally, when there's not much contrast on pages like you mentioned with that boys' dnd session artwork, I've disovered that even a simple outline with white gel pen over characters helps a ton! Like, it's crazy how much of a difference it can make)

Question: how did they stand the test of time. LIke you put them down for a month and tried to use them. Did they dry up beyond recognition like a gel pen?

I still have them and for the most part they still work really well after a good shake! There's definitely one or two with clogged nibs though, which can be a bit of a pain to get cleaned out. I recently did a video on Grabie acrylic paint markers and found that I liked the consistency a lot better. I just haven't had them long enough to say whether they end up the same as the Artistro paint markers over time.
