Just wanted to include, that noise when you’re spinning the drum is actually the balance ring on Samsung Washers. There are little balls inside a liquid that help with balancing and when you spun the drum they clack against each other. Either way it’s a completely normal noise. They all do it. It’s very interesting though to people who don’t know about it.

Hi Josh Our large loads go thru (bedding), but clothing wont complete a cycle. Not getting any error codes or stored error code. No huge wobble + recently replaced shocks with oem. Recalibrated a few times but still getting this intermittant error on most clothing or towels. Ive been manually entering spin mode but the wife is getting unhappy. Plus now my dryer is gettung noisy (bad tensioner pully I have but yet to replace. Q: does the balancing ring ever fail? How about the door look (wax) motor drive (even though the door lock function appears to work). It seems like it will do a balancing soft spin (to & fro) but clicks off and adds +1 min to the oruginal spin only time. At this point Im thinking Hall sensor (or fractured hull sensor housing - more cheap china plastic). Any suggestions? All my duagnostics are negative and it feels like a sensir malfunction for it to be intermittant.

@joshcobb4100 3 сағат бұрын
In this situation where everything seems to check out, there is actually a part of the main control board that will go bad that the hall sensor communicates to. Definitely try swapping out that hall sensor first but my money is on bad control board at this point. If the door lock works, then it’s good to go. When I find myself in your situation 50-50 it’s a sensor or control board sometimes both. A dedicated surge protector for the washer outlet will keep this issue from happening in the future. Good luck man! It’s a sheer test of patience with Samsung machine 🤣

Couldn't you have just right clicked and selected open in a new tab, typically that's how I do it on my phone and I would imagine that the desktop version is similar in that regard

Yes…. I suppose every single time I go to click something I could right click and click open new tab. You’re right.

I’m a tech, so the element- the top is your thermal cut off. It serves as a safety net. The high limit thermostat monitors the temperature of the element. If the high limit stays close, the thermal cut off will trip . The closest thing to a thermistor on that is the thermal fuse. Vent restriction, bad blower wheel broken belt grounded element and of course the actual cycling thermostat

You should replace the pump if jammed with a big socket,the impeller and seal could be damaged and may leak .

That's a good point! Pretty easy to check for that damage tho....no sense replacing if it's all good and not leaking. But good point because I have seen them damaged after pulling stuff out.

I run a welding supply store we will absolutely not take harbor freight cylinders please I cannot stress it enough buyer beware all the tanks I have seen come from Harbor freight are NOT DOT approved Guys go to harbor freight to get the cylinders to try and swap out all the time I’m sure there are some people who don’t care and will take your money

Yeah they didn’t seem to care here at all and took my money and gave me new tanks no problem. I guess they deal with the tanks on their end down the road?

That was the problem ! Hurricane Helene flood waters were rising fast so to save my washer I tossed it up on milk crates and dislodged that plate. It didn't seem right, changed springs and those new pads didn't pad anything with that plate moved. I refused to be like most of the people around here that just threw away everything after the flood instead of trying to fix it. The motor got wet with salt water so I rinsed it with fresh water oiled it and it worked, was like cool I saved it then got this shaking problem !

QUESTION - Josh, I did answer the MINI FRIDGE question in detail (no, the MINI FRIDGES don't have freezers). By "MINI FRIDGE," I'm, of course, referring to the little, portable 6-15 twelve-ounce-can capacity fridges that weigh a few pounds (empty). So, my question is: A mini fridge with two independent functions (food cooler and food warmer by means of a green (cooler) switch and a red (warmer) switch on the same unit won't possibly interfere with the cooler not cooling maximally and as efficiently because of the warmer, although the warmer is turned off completely? The Cooler/Warmer mini fridge I used, the cooler has stopped cooling altogether after a week or two while the warmer still functions. These babies have no thermostat, etc., although they can work in a car as well as at home or office. . . . Thanks for your website and any suggestions.

This is the exact washer that I have. I started off by finding a leak from somewhere underneath. After taking the whole machine apart, I discovered it was the hose. So, I tried to put the machine back together the best that I could. I am having a problem lining up the outer most part the machine back together, but I thought I did everything else correctly, as far as the springs go. Now I tun the washer and it is most definitely obnoxious and loudly banging. Going to check out what you have shown in this video. Thanks!

2024. Just tried this on my 4-6 year old Whirlpool cabrio. Only issue I had was unclipping the left side of the panel. But after I got it unclipped and cleaned the metal pieces, everything worked like it should. Thanks a lot!
