I was fortunate to know Blind Sammy and leading him up on stage at an obscure show in Tampa Bay years ago......meeting the REAL DEAL and having conversation. Clam Bayou Blues Bash held in a small hall and not many people there but the people that counted in the local Blues Scene and getting educated first hand and the EXPERIENCE

I first heard (and saw) Mike playing with Sugar Ray Norcia in Limoges about 15 years ago and I was most unimpressed. However all I have heard by him since (without Sugar Ray!) just leaves me wanting more and more.

Sammy was The Man...drummer for Elmore James and BIG in his own right. Credit to Anson for bringing him out of obscurity and to the wider Blues audience. Anson is still out there touring catch him if you can. RIP Sammy blow some harp upstairs and with all the other Greats that have gone. Must be a hell of a band:)

What an absolute rockin’ band. Tad Robinson is so bad-ass without even trying. He looks like he just got out on parole and ain’t ever goin back.
