Kia owns Hyundai, FYI. Almost every part is shared between Hyundai and Kia. Engines. Transmissions. Struts. You name it. Kia Soul is unique in that Hyundai doesn't have their version of it, so it'll actually have a lot of unique chassis parts, but yeah. Like the Sorento vs the Santa Fe. Every single part on those are identical, minus aesthetics.

@@jimott3358 you'll see the same thing with GM. Silverado and Sierra are the same truck. Escalade and Tahoe are the same. The Escalade pickup is a Chevy Avalanche, which is just a Tahoe with a pickup bed. All that goes for Ford and Lincoln, Nissan and Infiniti, Toyota and Lexus, and others.

I never write but I have been loving your channel for Rabbits. I am new to rabbitry. I made my cages like yours. Only difference is that I hang them up. But I can't figure out what you used to make the purple plastic protector around the doors. I love those! What did you use? Where did you get them? I am located about an hour north of Montreal. So I am in Canada. I need to get the breed. Pretty sure I will be going with American Chinchilla. If not It will be brown New Zealand. Both are available from my breeder. Getting them around July 1st. Annyway thanks for the help! Mutch appreciated!

So, it's a 1992, 93 or something like that? I bought a similar one, but I'm having a hard time trying to identify it. My engine is from 89, but I think the mower body is newer. The deck seems to be the same. Do you have any id number for the deck?

Why can't you boil off the water, filter the old oil, and reuse it?
@JimsNBHomestead14 күн бұрын
Very good question, yes it is possible to boil the water out of the oil. My thinking was to just replace it because I had no way of knowing it's condition. It was just not worth messing with. If the oil was of known age and quality then heating the oil absolutely would have been an option.

My shaft seal is leaking like a sieve. It was replaced only 3 years ago and used little, stored outside in winter. I wonder if back pressure from the oil filter could be causing this problem. I don't have a gauge like you and mine is an off brand unit, probably Central Pneumatic, not sure I didn't buy it new.
@@MikeJones-rk1un I think you need it to be resealed. The retract will be rod end and this will leak every time you open the return stroke. Did you do the reseal? Is the rod in good condition

I can't believe with all your years of lubrication and tribology research, that you're still using WD-40.
@JimsNBHomesteadАй бұрын
WD-40 has a very low surface tension and is extremely thin. This allows it to creep in between the piston and cylinder. As a long term lubricant I think you could better. It does what it's supposed to do. If and when we unstick this motor it will receive and appropriate lubricant before we get it spinning

That's the hub, or blade adapter. It is a relatively cheap part available at your local small engine repair store. Failing that Amazon has lots of them. Be sure to find the right part number from the Data sticker on your machine.
