Gorgeous! Truly wonderful information about getting the right size fabric pieces for each section. Your tutorial is really brilliant. Thank you so much for your video. Oh lastly what stitch size are you using? ❤❤😊

These tea cups are so much fun! I can’t wait to make some mug rugs soon, Christmas gifts for my family members who join me from across the USA for afternoon tea. We enjoy a tradition of “separated but still together in heart”. 😃👍 Thank you for such an enjoyable pattern! 💖

Thank you so much for the challenge. The tip I have found most helpful was on day two when you showed how to use the cup template with the centre of the cup removed to acurately align your design for fussy cutting. That is a tip I can see being used again and again. A tip I would pass on is - if your machine does fancy embroidery stitching it likely has an embroidery lock stitch (three micro stitches) use that at the beginning and end of seams much easier and tidier than back stitching.

I always buy the washable glue sticks. If I get frustrated with a project, I can use a lot of glue and make absolutely sure that the third or fourth round of sewing a single piece is done properly. When the project is finished, if some glue remains, it will come out in the wash. I also have a roll of cellophane tape to repair a foundation that might have gotten damaged in the multiple unsewings.
@quietplaydesigns10 ай бұрын
That's a good idea with the washable glue sticks. It does make it a lot easier to keep the fabric in place when needed. Sticky tape (cello tape) is great for patching up a template that might have started to tear. I also really like washi tape because it doesn't melt under the iron so much ;)
