​@@JohnBradford14 Allow to disagree with your points: . 1)Big problem with your suggestion is that hatred against mutants MUST be already establish at least for several decades. Why? Central conflict theme in X Man is a deep hatred between humans and mutants. Conflict which almost have not a solid solution to this. Different groups of mutant and humans seek answer to this conflict difference from idealism of X Man (faith into ability to coexist with each other) to radical realism (ideas of Magneto or people such as Bolivar Trusk). Such deep seeded hate just cant come out thin air and be specifically point against mutants (and not meta humans like Spider Man and huge chunk of his villians) . Conflict need to be long established. This would give solid foundation to the central Magneto/Proff X conflicts. They dont argue just about theories (and Magneto with his actions basicly create hatred against mutant kind) - instead both of them need solid arguments based on practice. This also why Magneto background as a child in nazi concentration camp is NECESSARY. All his choices and actions come based on this dark past (he view worst in humans and this is why it so hard to him believe in human good side). Without that Magneto character would not be Magneto - just a random dude with similar powers. . My solution (whole scenario is little to long to write it here) - Mutant Saga would start right after the end of the Multiverse saga. Make them as a consequence to Multiverse war - all those universes merge into "big true one" (for example characters like Loki and Dr. Strange made something in order to stop Multiverse wars and ) with new time line which is combined from events from different universes. For example in this new main universe - mutants always were there (this also could alow MCU to make a recast to our original Avengers cast) and were part of the world, took their part in events like Infinity War, etc . This is also why we dont need show X Man origins (original 5 etc). We need already established X Man (well known for everyone). My suggestion - we need take start 1-1,5 years after this version of Dark Phoenix saga had happened. Jean Grey is dead. Professor X step out of leadership (blaming himself for this tragedy), X Man are disabled and scattered around the globe, Cyclop is alcoholic who stop care about Xsavier dream and often visit his wife grave, Human hatred combine with primorial fear (Phoenix almost destroy Earth) toward mutants is strong as never before and get worse with each passing day... . This must improve central theme of the conflict - mutants vs humans. Give solid reasons for BOTH sides to hate each other. For X Man central figure should be a Cyclops - you know how dirty Fox done with him. But here start at the bottom you could give Cyclops a great character arc (similar to Iron Man in Infinity Saga) - show him as a great leader who under tough circumstances is forced to make difficult choices in order to save his people - Cyclops radicalization arc which would led into AvsX (embodiment of "humans vs mutants" conflict) . . 2)The fact that you against Mutants involvement in magic, cosmos etc stuff - that mean you are basicly against crossovers. . My first argument against your point would be the obvious one - what point to make X Man (and mutants in general) join MCU if they still stay their own separate thing?! Also after start of Mutant Saga, i agree that MCU must focus on mutants, but that does not mean that MCU should become "about mutants only". There should still be events outside general mutant story line and they need to be connected with main events of Mutant Saga. . My second argument is about technical issue - X Man have HUGE cast of characters and villians while Marvel have only certain number of movies. To put it simply - it would be hard to establish a lot of mutants characters (i mean establish as full-fledged characters and not 1 minute cameo on background). Here is where crossovers come to help us. We have a lot of "borderline" X Man characters who could come first time on big screen in such crossover movies (as second main character or support cast) . I would use Magik as example to explain my idea. Magik is very tricky character to flashout in live action movie format. She has very complex origin story (which give one of the best story telling) combine with her mutant\ magic-demon side...It vero hard to establish her as a character in X Man movie. But you can do this in Doctor Strange movie. Here is my scenario: some time after death of Jean Grey child Illyana (younger sister of Collossus) is kidnapped by demon Belasco - traumatized and shattered X Man fail to protect her. Enraged Colossus leave the team and went seek his sister (Xsavier help him with Cerebro). Several months later someone sneak into Doctor Strange mansion in order to steal some magic thing. Strange confront thief and face young teenage blonde girl which teleport out with stolen object. Later Colossus come to Strange and together they find out that Belasco (demon who kidnap Illyana) is Ruler of Demon realm Limbo. He kidnap Magik with goal to use her soul and her powers in order to prepair full scale demon invasion into Earth realm. Second part of the movie is infiltration in Limbo, fight against Belasco, his demons (like Sym) and Illyanna. Then her creation of Soul Sword - basicly cover her whole origin story. . This way you can establish Magik and give her well written origin story. Establish her equally as mage and mutant (may be make her Strange student for a period of time so she could join later young generation of mutants but also has option to be a guest star in Dr Strange stories). Show us Colossus as well written character. Give us a good story for Dr Strange. Write a good connection between X Man part of story and rest of MCU.
