As always, an excellent video; I especially like how people-sized Tokyo looks in places. I may have to give that film a watch as well; thanks for the recommendation.

This was probably my favorite video yet! Thank you for making it. A bike/Perfect Days film was just what I needed this Saturday morning while I enjoyed my coffee. Hearing that you were being too aggressive riding your bike around Tokyo makes me a little afraid to do it myself though 😅

Great video! Would you happen to have the location of any of the shrines you visited on your mountain ride?
@probablyriding36 минут бұрын
I loving building new bikes but I am also running out of space!

Great post, thankyou. I would also describe myself as an introvert and find the bike to be a great ice breaker for having a chat with other people who may or may not be cyclists.

The best ice breaker for me.

What bike did you ride when you lived in London? Im so scared of it getting nicked it’s stopping me from purchasing my dream bike (no matter how tatty I make it look 😅) 90s mtb are nice but at 6’4 run a little small and not a fan of 26”. I wish we had this movement in London too!
@probablyriding37 минут бұрын
I had a fairly low key Pelago Bristol. I love that bike for riding in London and it flies under the radar too. I certainly don't miss worrying about my bike being stolen.

@probablyriding36 минут бұрын
Lots of bike in this video but my stable is: Rivendell Atlantis, Clem, Susie and Romulus, and a Monopole cargo.
@Smoothrp2 сағат бұрын
Congrats with the new frame. Great oldschool color. Curious what component colors you are going to match it with. Building it up is the greatest thing. I myself am building a 50s,70s and 80/90s frames as speaking. Running out of space very fast. Thats the biggest problem of building/collecting bikes. Wish i had a bag like “sport Billy” 😆. This is just wonderful! Favourite film and second favourite city combined with the beautiful Probably Riding style. I love your static shots, reminiscent of Yasuniro Ozu. When I come to Tokyo this autumn, I’m Probably Riding the same route when I collect my A Homer Hillsen from Bluelug (retirement present to myself). 12:17 - they actually wear the same overalls! Future hipster fashion item right there! Thanks again and have a grr2025.

At first glance your yellow bike looks a bit lie the one Kōji Yakusho’s character in Under the Open sky is gifted. And the thumbnail restrooms feature pretty prominently in Perfect Days, another Kōji Yakusho gem. Happy new year Edit: Ah and of course you talk abotu it too xD

Someone once explained introvert vs extrovert to me like this. Being an introvert doesnt mean you dont like people or being around them, it just means they drain your social battery, where as extroverts charge their battery around others.
