SBI is the worst! I took a loan from SBI, and it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had. To resolve any issue, you have to go in person multiple times. The education loan interest rate they initially offered was 8.5%, but later they increased it to 10.65% without prior notice. They also deducted multiple EMIs in the same month because of a lack of coordination. My friend, who took a loan from HDFC, had issues too, but his dedicated manager always resolved them within 1-2 days. For example, I needed to change my mobile number, which took my dad more than 5-6 visits, and even then, it wasn’t changed. When I went to India, I had to be present in person to get it updated, and it still took more than five visits. On the other hand, my friend who took a loan from HDFC was able to update his details from the U.S. with his manager’s help. I usually don’t write negative reviews, but SBI forced me to. From taking the loan to repaying it, it’s been more than a headache. P.S.: This is my personal experience.

All these are very hard to get. Only very few get. Job scene in USA is not good at all. IT layoffs and saturation going on. Don’t come if coming with limited money. Students are struggling to find jobs and survive.

Urgent help ! My stem OPT got denied stating im no longer under F1 status bcuz my h1b got approved. But my h1b is under Consular process, not on change of status so the stem opt wasn't supposed to get denied. Its gonna take a 6-8 months of time if I file a petition and 4-5months finding an interview slot for h1b in home country. What should i do ?

Students coming in just understand it’s easy to get college seats in USA. It’s not easy to find a job. IT hiring was high in USA and also H1B sponsorship was high only in IT. Other areas of study does very less H1b sponsorship. Do not come if you have limited funds. Tech jobs are very very limited. Layoffs are still continuing & top talent are finding hard to find jobs.

So helpful for my family that has just immigrated to the USA (not as students) ! Thank you.
