For me there is no longer room for the A7IV I upgraded to the a7r 5 and A7Cii and the autofocus with the AI processor is so better much better than i ever imagined. These cameras feel idiot proof. Whether your shooting photo or video you will not ever hsve to worry about your subject being out of focus. If you dont need the extra custom button and sre okay with 1 cardslot then get this for sure!

great video and some really nice shots in there! love it. The Qx definitely have an experience on their own. My personal take is the lens, quality but also focal length, locks you into a way of shooting that pushes toward story telling. And that is what I think makes it so special. Something overlooked about that camera, because its so obvious... If you shoot with a Qx, you have to tell a story. And thats where I think all the magic is. Its an "easy button" M+28....

Hey Johny thanks for the video and for sharing the beautiful images. I especially loved the ones you got from the Aurora. Also a quick question. Everyone talking about Leica Q3 mentions this cropping feature, however, no one talks about perspective. What I mean is that a cropped 35mm has a different look to an actual 50, 75 or 90mm lens, due to the compression. Does that not bother you?

For someone getting into the hobby would this be a good way to start? Do you need 2 card slots fpr hobbisty or a full hdmi? I wish sony would just come out with the a7v. Everybody is r aleasing new cameras and it seems like sony is sleeping.

Bro the major lift and offset of your footage at 0:35 is absolutely freakin stunning!!!!! You obliterated the false perception of noise on that one man. This sucker is FIRE!!!!!!!!! That's not a struggle, that's simply needing to get more light. This was cake for you because not even I probably couldn't get remotely close let alone sharp af like you did on that scene.

What’s Up Jonny, Im Not Educated At All On Filters… However, All My Video Content I Record Outdoords… I’m Looking For A Good VIR- ND Filter And A Polarized Lens Filter … I’m Working With A Sony A6600 My Lenses Are: Sony E16=55mm 2.8 And Sony E15mm F1.4.. Thank You

Very nice video. Thank you so much. Beautiful work too. I’m wondering, since all these shots at f/1.7 were taken wide open, how you avoid highlights blowing out. Are you using something like an ND filter? And if so, do you have any recommendations? Thank you 🙏 in advance for your time.

Why would you want to have anything shot above 8 seconds in bulb mode, in a high iso? That’s going to defeat the purpose of an extended exposure.

Had mine a month now, I absolutely love it. The image quality is mind blowing and the ergonomic/usability design is sublime as is the build quality. I had a Q2 too and totally agree. I use mine with the leather Q2 holster, it fits fine even with battery grip, thumb grip and finger loop attached, this protects the screen very well and makes it very easy to carry around and quickly shoot.
