i don't know if its been done on your channel but one of my LGS decided to run an official Tournament for Lorcana but as Poorcana and it was a ton of fun to see the deck builds. Not sure if yah all would be up to doing something like that. The rules were simple. 60 card deck. no more than 4 copies. You could only include Common and Uncommons. 2 color max in deck. :)

i beg to differ, a good example is Flesh and Blood. it's the fastest growing "new" tcg. Pixelborn gives players access to the game without having to spend a dime, there are also competitive play on Pixelborn, so why fork out money to buy the physical cards when you can create a deck with all cards available. the accessibility of Lorcana is hindered because their supply chain sucks.

Quick note: Imperial Bow may only give Hero characters Challenger +2 and Evasive. Luisa and Isabella are not Heroes.

13:20 - Not using Medallion Weights to give ariel +2 and take the 4 lore Isabella off the board is a big misplay that cost the game

I have to question the Zeus card interpretation. The way it reads to me is that the "chosen" character Zeus gains strength from is the character chosen for the challenge. Surely it would say "any character" rather than "chosen character" if it was the way Veggie played it?

The way Veggie used Zeus - Mr Lightning Bolts' ability is correct. You may choose any character and gain their strength. It is not restricted to just what you are challenging.

I thought the same as you when I first played it, and I also thought flynn- frenemy only worked when they had a charater on board and mine were stronger, but it still works when they have no characters on board

I hate she never got use out of Ariel sonic warrior granted its a sealed tourney and not the same as a deck made to compliment other cards. Would have like to seen her combo songs 🧜‍♀Very proud she put pressure with bodyguard Hercules such a good card if opponent has no answer. Second star to the right won the game for him

I just read the card thebes once again and it clearly said that you gain 2 lore when a character banishes another via a challenge, and as mulan challenged to banish one character but the other 2 are banished via the card effect, so no more lore (imo)

@@kahloy fair enough, though a rewrite would be useful. You could say that all three were banished as part of a challenge as the effects that caused the removal were triggered by the challenge, it's ambiguous at best.

Transformed chef should have been banished against that Mickey. The +1 challenger never ends with Philoctetes. so he would have done 3 to the chef.

What is the lore behind lorcana? I feel like this is a war in the Magic Kingdom, with Mickey on one side trying to harness the ink in his world to create and make peace, and a foe on the other side (Oswald perhaps?) Using Ink to conquer and control. Saying that if we wind up eventually with evil versions of heroes and heroic versions of villians (just imagine Hades as one of the good guys! Or even JAFAR!), That would be an amazing twist.

Just bought a bunch 3 first session trial decks, two rise of the flood decks, and about 200 loose cards for cheap, so I need to learn a LOT about this game now. One key factor is..... where do I start?
