My man, thank you so much for this guide! I'm not quite there in my SDV journey to hit up the SC yet, but I've saved this video for when I do get to late game. I have a video request, if you have time. Are you able to do a beginner early/mid game Skull Caverns guide? Especially, for new players like myself first entering the SC for the first couple of times?

Hey there and so sorry for the late reply - but once you unlock combat mastery, you will be eligible to receive trinket drops from monsters! Eventually you'll receive the ice rod, and if you roll lucky enough at some point, you'll get the perfect one which gives you the best possible stats on it. Cheers!

I don’t play that much recently because I’m busy and I play Ironman but every time I level up I think about rollbacks. I hope if they do rollback they can just rollback items, I finally played a lot this past week and leveled a lot. I got a bunch of items too but I’m fine losing them if I can keep the xp.

If it involves the prepot device, it would probably be easy for them to track down abusers seeing as there probably aren't that many in the game yet and they can be traced back to individuals. Don't know what that could mean for rollbacks but yeah

I fully agree. Jagex seems very ambitious with their new releases (which is great when done correctly), they have a lot to roll out over the next several months - and I hope they learn from this and other mistakes, and prioritize quality over quantity!!

Hi. Question. When we in the minds do we always start from level one when we leave? Or, every tenth floor we have that option to start from there? I got down to thirteen I believe and I'm still starting from for one.

Hey there, for the skull caverns you will always restart. For the Mines (if you're not doing a challenge), you can go to any previously unlocked floor increment you'd like.

Luck increases the chances of finding ladders and shafts from mining (but not combat) and of finding treasure rooms. It complements the Dwarf King "Greater chance to find ladders and shafts" buff. You could add another +4 luck buff with lucky lunches and luck rings, but you'd have to give up a speed buff and two rings.

Really nice content, I like learning more about what is possible in the skull cavern and mines in general. I feel like there is already quite some contant for beginners or about the level people like Haboo and Cordite play on, but not much in between. Something I'm personally focussing on is how to get the most out of the skull caverns during my first summer. I want level 10 combat for an early matsery cave unlock and money for starfruit while not having many staircases, not the best gear and often starting my dives in the late morning or early afternoon.

Since you want to do this before the special orders, monster musk is no option. But bad luck days have the most monsters. Go in on some really bad days with a lot of ladders from jades and you should get this (just get crystallarium from the bundle and stack up for some days on jade)

@@magycon2368 I thought daily luck doesn't influence the amount of monsters that spawns. The stardew wiki page on luck also doesn't mention it. I would think high luck days arre better, since you get more ladders to get to lower levels with more monsters.
