Super helpful guide, thank you! I've been trying to clear the caverns for more iridium and the lowest i can usually get is around 60-70, this is going to be really helpful.

Luck increases the chances of finding ladders and shafts from mining (but not combat) and of finding treasure rooms. It complements the Dwarf King "Greater chance to find ladders and shafts" buff. You could add another +4 luck buff with lucky lunches and luck rings, but you'd have to give up a speed buff and two rings.

1. Pause buffering is insane for when you have a lot of ladders. Pressing the inventory key during the fade-in animation will prevent in-game time for continually passing during that specific moment. Using 100~150 staircases while opening the inventory vs not will save you 2 hours plus. 2. The best mining tool is in fact your master slingshot with explosive ammo. Each bomb has a fuse time with the fuse time increasing with the level of bombs (bomb

1. I will definitely use this when I want to push 300+ 2. This is definitely something I want to weave into my cavern runs, thank you! 3. I'll definitely try this when I need the inventory space. 4. You're right, I never thought of how useful it can be in the long run! 5. I'm huge on combat, while money is part of the goal, I also want to hack and slash away at monsters heheh. 6. I don't think I would enjoy performing ring switches on specific mob death animations just for the speed buff just to be able to have both ring effects unless used in very specific farming/item grind situations. I do think this is an awesome tip though and will definitely use it for those niche situations. Overall it would make the game a bit too menu-y for my liking though! My man, thank you so much for this guide! I'm not quite there in my SDV journey to hit up the SC yet, but I've saved this video for when I do get to late game. I have a video request, if you have time. Are you able to do a beginner early/mid game Skull Caverns guide? Especially, for new players like myself first entering the SC for the first couple of times?

Great video I’m just waiting for challenge caverns to come up in Qi’s quests so this has really helped. using all the Galaxy weapons is a good idea will definitely be doing that. The only tweak I’ll be making is to add a lucky ring instead of savage to try and get down the floors a bit quicker. Thanks for the video!

Man, you make this look so easy. But my health bar is half the size of yours and I just end up eating about 30meals to survive. I've only made it to floor 50

I was in the same situation at first too. I'm wondering if you have early-mid game gear, because I think it may be a good idea for me to make a guide to the skull caverns that is friendly for people who haven't farmed all the crazy gear yet!

Hey there and so sorry for the late reply - but once you unlock combat mastery, you will be eligible to receive trinket drops from monsters! Eventually you'll receive the ice rod, and if you roll lucky enough at some point, you'll get the perfect one which gives you the best possible stats on it. Cheers!

I really expected you to go for the burglar's ring if you like mummy drops so much. Maybe that's because I haven't gotten the savage ring to consistently work for me.

Burglar’s ring is a pretty solid alternative. I will be making a combined ring that contains a burglar’s ring to swap into for those smaller packed rooms at deeper levels!

Hi. Question. When we in the minds do we always start from level one when we leave? Or, every tenth floor we have that option to start from there? I got down to thirteen I believe and I'm still starting from for one.

Hey there, for the skull caverns you will always restart. For the Mines (if you're not doing a challenge), you can go to any previously unlocked floor increment you'd like.

Hey there and thanks for the comment! Yes this is the dangerous skull caverns which is unlocked through Qi’s Skull Cavern Invasion Quest. The 6mil on the thumbnail is my play file, which displays my total earnings for my farm.
