@@Scrap2Cast It was basically outpatient surgery for an umbilical cord hernia that was popping through my ab muscles. Four holes, one mesh, more scars to add to my physic, and 6 weeks of recovery and I was finished. What cost the most was NOT the total surgical procedure, but the 8 hour ER visit where they decided to do NOTHING...and I did that at the insistence of my physician.

Thank you my friend! You can bet that coin has changed hands a lot! Still issues with the van, seems like one problem after another. It has a severe oil leak now and it’s getting to the point where I’m contemplating selling it as is and buying another one with less problems and lower miles. I bought it originally out of necessity and because my funds were limited. I started a side gig that is putting extra money in my pocket every week, so buying a better van wont be too much of an issue. As far as scrapping, we are a few months out on that due to the fact my side gig eats up about 25-30 hours of my free time every week. As far as the metal casting… probably a year or more out on that. I can’t justify buying property now because it’s very expensive and the low rent I pay outweighs the need to shell out more $$$ just to achieve that goal quicker.
